PREHISTORIC PARK

EPISODE 1: SAVING THE SABER-TOOTH

Hello. I'm Matthew McBride. I own a Time portal. yes a REAL time portal that lets you go back in time. I have always thought dinosaurs and mammoths and giant creepys really cool and have always wished they where alive today. Put thease to facts together and what do you get? PREHISTORIC PARK thats what. The ultimate wildlfe sancuatry caring and saving extinct animals is not the best part. Its me who has to rescue them by going through the time portal to when the animals where alive and bring them back through the portal to the saftey of the 21st centuary.

These week we will see the first arrivals come to live saftey and happily. I'm going 3 million years back to catch the most famous extinct cat of all....The Smilodon!

I also want to save a Terror bird which is also going extinct because of the Smilodon invading there territory

So of I go through the time portal and let the adventure begin!

I know its a rubbish portal but at least it works!

Opps looks like appered right in front of a herd of toxon(I used hippos because they are kinda similer)

lets follow them
*10 minutes later* they have stopped at this poad here and a jumping in and having a little paddle round to keep them cool.
Toxodon is a genus of mammals, similar to the capybara but now extinct, that lived in the late Pliocene and Pleistocene epochs in South America. Toxodon fossils were studied by Charles Darwin on his voyage on the Beagle. They seem to like swimming and are probly the most hunted by terror birds and smilodons. now lets go get us a terror bird

Oh! This will be good! :original: I can't wait for the gastronis! : :) :
Lamna: There aren't any actual dinosaurs. No velociraptors, etc. But there are mammoths, smilodons, gastronis, basilosaurus, and entelodonts.

A giant prehistoric whale! And basil means king. It was named this because it looks like a sea serpent.

ah. but why "saurus"? early whales can't have been lizards, otherwise, the humback whale would be a large "godzilla" like creature! i know the scientist who discovered it gave it the name, but why did he call it "...saurus"?

The people that named it thought it was a reptile at first. Its a case of mistaken identity.

Yep I cant wait for prehistoric park. Could I make a recmendation? I think you should leave gastornis seprate and have a trip to the eocne. That would make the seris last longer.
(PS incass you were wondering the reason its still called basilasaurs is because you cant change a scintific name. Other wise there would be alot of confusion.)
