To make a long story short, I'm posting ZT1 pics now! I'm making a replica of Seaworld San Diego. The first and greatest! (Lol, jk :P) It will not look EXACTLY like Seaworld San Diego, but it will have a resemblance. Some animals will replace others, for example, wild horses will replace the clydesdales and I will also be adding extra animals. Here are the clydesdales and the soraias.
-
Great Idea KiwiBuddy!!! I LOVE IT!!
-
That pic looks great! I love your use of foliage!!! What else do you have in the zoo??? Keep up the great work!
-
Thanks guys. But the Seaworld park will have to hold for a bit, user-made stuff made it hard to find what I wanted. (I had to scroll so much just for a lighthouse! :P) Don't worry though, I haven't thrown away the idea in the tras... oops, too late. :lol Jk. I have a totally awesome zoo without user-made stuff and it is very cool so far. The zoo is divided into continents which is divided into parts of the continents. (E.g. North American-California Coast)
My first pic is North America-Little Town in Mexico. With the Prarie Dog cafe, yucca trees, and yours truly, Mexican gray wolves! Ariba! :happy
-
Now that is cool!!! What type of fencing did you use??? I'm getting some great ideas from you!!!
-
I use marine fences since they're hardly noticeable (especially the black kind) and then put something right next to them so the wolves don't jump out. Like some sort of foilage or rock!
-
Great pictures! (horses! :wub ) And that mexican area is beautiful, very well themed and attractive. :happy
-
(North American- Camp Mile High Pines) Here are my meese. Er... mooses, no, wait. Moose!!! :lol
-
My "Raptors of the World" aviary. :)
-
The American black bears. Their babies are so cute! :wub
-
And now the *sigh* normal... gray wolves. :sad :lol
-
Now for the big, bad grizzly bears! Aie! Run for your lives!!! :P (I'm in a silly mood today, oh, wait, I'm always in a silly mood! :P :P :P )
-
(North America- Bighorn Trail) And the mountain lions that ALWAYS hang out in the exact same spot! Why don't they run around or something!?
Mountain Lions: "We're fat! We're lazy! And we're proud of it!"
Oh shut up! :D :rolleyes
-
My numerous American bighorn sheep. :)
-
(North America- The Great Plains) The American Bison. And their wittle baby. :wub
-
Wow, Wow, Wow, and Wow!!! Talk about details! You have so many things placed in this zoo, it would take a long time to catch everything! I love your use of foliage and rocks, as well as the decorative fencing. And speaking of fencing, what a smart way to do it! I'm getting some great ideas from you! Keep up the good work, master zoo builer!!!
-
Thanks Firehawke. I'll try to add some more pics today. I really wanna show my California Coast area. ;) I'm also giving user-made objects another chance. :rolleyes :lol No promises on pics though, sorry. :sad
-
All right, Kiwibuddy, what ever you do, keep posting the excellent pictures! :w00t
-
Great pics! :)
-
Whoa! My topic is still here? Sweet. I'm gonna post some awesome pics of my newest zoo! :wtg
Here are some wild horses and Carribbean flamingos.
-
Amazing job!!!!
i love what you did with the mountain Lions :approve
much better than mine :wtg
-
That exhibit looks great! What else is in this zoo so far? Can't wait to see more pics!
-
Why I'm so glad you asked! This here be my European deer enclosure, featuring Tasmanian tigers totally awesome (and definitely worth downloading, a word to the wise ;) ) fallow deer, European red deer, and Eurasian roe deer.
-
Going further down, you'll come across the badger and wild boar exhibits! I have so many babies! :wub
-
And the last European enclosure includes ibex. And just for the heck of it, I threw in markhor to spice things up!
-
Some guests found the hidden Rainforest Clearing in my zoo! Including Malayan tapirs, Javan rhinos, giant armadillos, and giant anteaters.
-
And now with no foilage.
-
And even more hidden is the Pygmy Lagoon, featuring pygmy hippos! Dey aw o cute! :wub
-
And with no foilage, as you can see, it's not a very popular exhibit. :( But I love the little 'temple' I made in the viewing area!... Hey! Where are my babies!? :huh
-
And on the other side of my zoo is a whole new story. Some rootin' tootin' rock wallabies!
-
those pics look great! i :wub the ibex and wallaby exhibits; they seem so real! :wtg
-
Beautiful!!! I love everything! I wish my zoos looked as beautiful as yours do!!! What type of fencing are you using??? Keep up the great work!
-
 Whoa! My topic is still open!? Hasn't it been 30 days with no updates?... Oh well. I've gotten back into ZT1 and I'm gonna post some new pics! Once again, I'm attempting to add every animal in my zoo. At least every real, exsisting animal. Don't expect to see velociraptors, humpback whales, or bigfoot in my zoo! Anyways, *ahem*:
Welcome to my zoo! I'll be your guide and narrator (mostly narrator) and will show you around this shiny, sparkly, and, erm... incomplete zoo! (Don't worry, I'll be working on it!) Admire the pretty scenery as you walk through the main gate!
http://img147.imageshack.us/my.php?image=17gi2.jpg (http://img147.imageshack.us/my.php?image=17gi2.jpg)
-
Tada! The main plaza! You put your hand over your heart as the U.S. National Anthem plays in throughout the morning, facing the four, towering U.S. flags. (If you're not from the U.S., then you can... oh, A. eat a hamburger, B. play a guitar, or C. take a nap.) .
http://img236.imageshack.us/my.php?image=28bg.jpg (http://img236.imageshack.us/my.php?image=28bg.jpg)
-
Narrator :You see the pretty elephant fountain in the center (or centre if you're not from the U.S. :sweatingb... again...)
Guide: This fountain is made of a mix of copper and tin to give it a pleasant bronze look. We polish it every morning.
Narrator: You have a major urge to jump into the cool waters of the fountain, but decide to save your energy for animal viewing... or guitar playing...
http://img236.imageshack.us/my.php?image=30fc.jpg (http://img236.imageshack.us/my.php?image=30fc.jpg)
-
Narrator: Once the anthem is over, you glance to your left and see an archway. You go over to it and take a good look. It has Aztec... wait, maybe Mayan, you don't really know, but it has really cool designs all over it. But what you're really looking forward to is what's on the other side of the archway.
http://img410.imageshack.us/my.php?image=47ho.jpg (http://img410.imageshack.us/my.php?image=47ho.jpg)
-
Narrator: You pass under the archway and find yourself walking along a messy, stone pathway that looks just as ancient as the archway. There's also a long row of torches and stone benches along the way.
http://img224.imageshack.us/my.php?image=50ed.jpg (http://img224.imageshack.us/my.php?image=50ed.jpg)
-
Narrator: Look! There's the primate house! Filled with endangered primates of the world, primates of Sotheast Asia, and lemurs of Madagascar! The monkeys, lemurs, and other apes swing about on tree branches and chatter like crazy.
http://img410.imageshack.us/my.php?image=65ej.jpg (http://img410.imageshack.us/my.php?image=65ej.jpg)
-
Narrator: After having more fun than a barrel full of... ok, I'm not even gonna say it...
You notcie a elevated viewing area. You're eager to see what animal is lurking around there.
http://img224.imageshack.us/my.php?image=74nh.jpg (http://img224.imageshack.us/my.php?image=74nh.jpg)
-
Narrator: ANTEATERS!
Guide: The giant anteater is the largest anteater species on the planet!
http://img224.imageshack.us/my.php?image=84gw1.jpg (http://img224.imageshack.us/my.php?image=84gw1.jpg)
-
Guide: To your right off to the side is Archie, our male anteater. He enjoys sleeping.
http://img410.imageshack.us/my.php?image=99ah.jpg (http://img410.imageshack.us/my.php?image=99ah.jpg)
Guide: Coming around the corner, you will see Isabella, our female anteater. Looks like she's awoken from her afternoon nap in her burrow!
http://img224.imageshack.us/my.php?image=100ah.jpg (http://img224.imageshack.us/my.php?image=100ah.jpg)
Guide: And lying around like his father, is Junior (yes, that's his name), our male, baby anteater. Here comes her mother, ready to comfort the little guy!
http://img224.imageshack.us/my.php?image=117ja.jpg (http://img224.imageshack.us/my.php?image=117ja.jpg)
Narrator: You awww at the sight of the baby anteater.
-
Narrator: It's now time to move along, and you're getting kinda hungry. You walk upon the rainforest path to see more.
http://img95.imageshack.us/my.php?image=126gu.jpg (http://img95.imageshack.us/my.php?image=126gu.jpg)
-
Narrator: An ancient temple!? No, it's just a fancy, themed restaurant. Your gurgling stomach forces you inside for a bite to eat. Didn't you eat breakfast!? Oh wait, you were playing your guitar all morning weren't you!?
http://img95.imageshack.us/my.php?image=132to.jpg (http://img95.imageshack.us/my.php?image=132to.jpg)
-
Narrator: After the grub, you notice something that you hadn't noticed before! There's a pathway leading downwards. There must be a viewing area nearby! You hurridly rush to see what animal awaits you.
http://img95.imageshack.us/my.php?image=144ub.jpg (http://img95.imageshack.us/my.php?image=144ub.jpg)
-
Narrator: It IS a viewing area! And you can see the mystery animal right in front of you!
http://img95.imageshack.us/my.php?image=158se.jpg (http://img95.imageshack.us/my.php?image=158se.jpg)
-
Narrator: JAGUARS!
Guide: Jaguars are the 3rd largest cats on the planet! This is our female, Maya. Say hi to Maya as she takes a drink from the pond.
http://img95.imageshack.us/my.php?image=167ic.jpg (http://img95.imageshack.us/my.php?image=167ic.jpg)
-
Guide: And off in the distance, you can see our male, Montezuma! Looks like he's awaken from his nap!
http://img95.imageshack.us/my.php?image=176jc.jpg (http://img95.imageshack.us/my.php?image=176jc.jpg)
-
Narrator: You look up, and see another viewing area right above you! It's for the jaguars, but you wanna get an eagle's eye view of the jaguars. You begin to rush back up to the top.
http://img95.imageshack.us/my.php?image=184pn1.jpg (http://img95.imageshack.us/my.php?image=184pn1.jpg)
-
Narrator: You see the path leading to the viewing area as you rush to get there.
http://img95.imageshack.us/my.php?image=192as.jpg (http://img95.imageshack.us/my.php?image=192as.jpg)
-
Narrator: Once you're up there, you fling yourself towards a nearby window to view the cats, but like magic, they're gone! "They must be napping", you think. You decide to go back down but something catches your eye. There's a big ol' hole in the wall across the viewing area. A SECRET PASSAGEWAY!
http://img95.imageshack.us/my.php?image=208pf.jpg (http://img95.imageshack.us/my.php?image=208pf.jpg)
-
Narrator: Hoping to see more animals, you dart through the passageway, cross a bridge, and come upon a food court. You're not very hungry due to the fact that you just came out of that rainforest restaurant. But you DO have to go to the bathroom.
http://img260.imageshack.us/my.php?image=219sk.jpg (http://img260.imageshack.us/my.php?image=219sk.jpg)

Narrator: After you're done doing your duty, you see and elevated path. You eagerly run up it.
http://img156.imageshack.us/my.php?image=221os.jpg
-
Narrator: After the treacherous climb. You come upon yet ANOTHER elevated path. You climb that path and see the next animal...

-
Narrator: LLAMAS! And there's lots of them! Five of them to be exact.
Guide: Llamas have been domesticated in South America. The llama on furthest to the right is Roco. The baby llama bouncing about in the middle of the enclosure is Alfonso. The three llamas in the corner from left to right are Sweet Lips, Gilda, and Cesar.

Hello Kiwibuddy~*~
I just took your zoo tour, and I am impressed!! I love the way you've posted your pics with both a narrator and a guide. The exhibits and viewing areas are exquisite-I've forgotten how to do a lot of this!! Your rain forest areas truly feel like you're in one. This is definately a 5 star zoo in my book!!! Way to Go!
Keep Building!
-
Wow!
i love this theme you are doing!
its like Jungle meets Highland
South American animals are some of my favorites and they dont have enough of them in zt2 :/
Really nice job!
-
Finally! Comments! What I've been wanting for so long! Thanks for the comments. It was so lonely over here! Just for the nice comments, I'll work on my zoo today!
-
Very well done nice use of smaller screenshots and Naration on your post's very impressive
-
Kiwi - these are great! I love the way you keep us entertained with the narrator and the guides - awesome idea!
-
Ok, I've got a really neat Mexican area going on, but I put it on the other side of the zoo. And I don't want to kinda mess up the story by having the guy randomly appear on the other side of the park. So I think I'll start a Great Barrier Reef area. :original:
-
What a great little tour! I especially like how you play around with height and of course lots of pretty trees and scenery! Can't wait to see the great barrier reef!!
-
Amazing zoo. When I still played with ZT1 I could never do anything like that.
-
While I'm making this zoo, I'm also making a really cool marine park! Just a heads up.
-
i cant see the pictures!!!aahh!! help!! i wanna see the amazing zoos!!
-
I've deleted older pictures. Sorry. I need to stop doing that. : :( :
-
Hey buddy, if you delete the pics then you need to delete the links to them too. any chance you can repost the pics for us? Also, you'll need to start posting some more pics--this is, after all, a SHOW & Tell thread!
-
Can you add the Great Barriar Reef?
-
Hey buddy, if you delete the pics then you need to delete the links to them too. any chance you can repost the pics for us? Also, you'll need to start posting some more pics--this is, after all, a SHOW & Tell thread!
Oh, okay. I'll delete the links then. :original: Anyways, I'm not always posting ZT1 pics. Right now I'm busy with WP1, and I'm not sure when I'll get to ZT1. But that doesn't mean that I'm never gonna post more pics.
Edit: Hmm... I don't see any links that don't have pics! Red_Panda87, which pics do you not see? I've deleted all of the pics from pages 1-3 of this thread. Maybe it's your computer?
