They're back! (for now...)
Finally pulled out the disk and started playing again after my cousin found it and took a liking to it. I've got a few screenshots from a rainforst zoo I started (it seems to have magically disappeared...) and am starting a new one today (just general, random animals...practice  ) so I'll try and get those up tonight!
The Entrance (http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b362/mo15/ZT%20Screenshots/Zoo026.jpg) - kind of strange looking  , sorry I don't have a shot without foliage. =(
Also, sorry it's so big, I uploaded it a while ago actually for a certain contest... *growls at Alice*: :P : so I didn't resize it
White Bengal Tigers (http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b362/mo15/ZT%20Screenshots/Zoo036.jpg) - a baby!
Chimps (http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b362/mo15/ZT%20Screenshots/Zoo041.jpg)
Mandrills (http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b362/mo15/ZT%20Screenshots/Zoo030.jpg) - weird, I almost NEVER use these!
Asian Elephants (http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b362/mo15/ZT%20Screenshots/Zoo043.jpg)

WHOMG you won against me with that photo? No WONDER the judge took so long to decide...
Love the zoo. Continue. And you are STILL better than me so there.
You don't need to quote an entire post that's just above yours. Thank You.
EDIT: Whoops sorry, meant to cut out everything but the entrance pic...
-
Great start Mo! Looks like you got the ZT1 bug as well.
-
Thats a great zoo mo!
-
Alice - yeah, that's the one I used... you saw it, remember?
zoohio - Thanks! And yes, it's nice to play again, I haven't in so long!
world - Thank you!
I've got shots of the new "General Zoo"! It isn't quite done yet, but I'll show you what I've got.
Entrance (http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b362/mo15/ZT%20Screenshots/Zoo044.jpg) - Too bad you can't go into guest mode in ZT1, I always wonder what it would look like under all the foliage! (it seems a lot easier to stuff more plants into an area in ZT1 than in ZT2 lol)
Entrance Without Foliage (http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b362/mo15/ZT%20Screenshots/Zoo045.jpg)
To the right (http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b362/mo15/ZT%20Screenshots/Zoo050.jpg), walking trashcans, Magnet the polar bear, and some gazelles. All the flowers in the corner are to distract from the compost building. =P
Same thing (http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b362/mo15/ZT%20Screenshots/Zoo051.jpg) without foliage.
Giant pandas (http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b362/mo15/ZT%20Screenshots/Zoo053.jpg) in the far corner - they reproduced very quickly! =D
-
Near there, the camels and a rainforest restaurant. (http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b362/mo15/ZT%20Screenshots/Zoo052.jpg)
Heading back to the left of the entrance, bengal tigers and black bears (http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b362/mo15/ZT%20Screenshots/Zoo046.jpg).
Same thing (http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b362/mo15/ZT%20Screenshots/Zoo048.jpg) without foliage.
Over a little more, there's a small "fun area" and saltwater crocs (http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b362/mo15/ZT%20Screenshots/Zoo054.jpg).
Last shot of the day, the grassland animals (http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b362/mo15/ZT%20Screenshots/Zoo055.jpg). (horses and bison)
No overviews as of yet, sorry, but I'll get some next time I work on the zoo!
-
Wow Mo, everything looks awesome! I love all the decoration and elevation used! Great work!
-
Very nice pics! I like the fun area and walking trashcans. :tooth:
-
Again, good job!
I look at your zoo and the first thing I see is a uniform and clean park!
-
:surprise: Love the entrance. You could always try replicating it in ZT2, I guess. And the giant pandas are adorable!
-
Wow those are great! I love the little 'fun' area!
I'll have to get that waterfall thing for when I play ZT1
-
I'm getting some great ideas from you Mo! It's great to see some of your pics!!! Keep up the great work, master zoo builder!!!
-
I am gone for a week and miss this!!!! =O not fair!
this is awesome work Mo! so detailed!
and the entrances are fantastic!
the exhibits though, are the piece of resistance *=D sp?*
Nice work!
-
I cant wait to find my disc and play now. That is a good zoo.
-
:sign_kewl Great job! I love the way you add the water/plants/rocks outside the exhibits... almost like the appetizer before the main course! Great idea!
-
Wow!!! :surprise: It's so great to see your zoos again Mo!!!! Fantastic job, especially with the waterfalls around the restaurant. I can't wait to see more of it!!
Keep Building!
-
Wow, thank you for all the wonderful comments everyone! =D
Sorry for such a long break, it's been busy!
But, I finished the zoo. *yay*
Time for pictures!
Near the far corner were the pandas and camels were, we also have a pack of gray wolves (http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b362/mo15/ZT%20Screenshots/Zoo056.jpg). (also a shot without foliage (http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b362/mo15/ZT%20Screenshots/Zoo060.jpg))
Near there, some anteates and komodo dragons (http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b362/mo15/ZT%20Screenshots/Zoo057.jpg).
A shot of some black rhinos (http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b362/mo15/ZT%20Screenshots/Zoo058.jpg) as well as the anteater exhibit. (also a shot without foliage (http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b362/mo15/ZT%20Screenshots/Zoo059.jpg))
P.S. Sorry if the switched viewing angles of the shots cause any confusion. =(
-
Near there, some lions and wild dogs (http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b362/mo15/ZT%20Screenshots/Zoo062.jpg). Babies babies everywhere! (shot w/o foliage (http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b362/mo15/ZT%20Screenshots/Zoo061.jpg))
And lastly, some giraffes and a mexican restaurant (http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b362/mo15/ZT%20Screenshots/Zoo063.jpg)! (shot w/o foliage (http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b362/mo15/ZT%20Screenshots/Zoo064.jpg))

The Entrance (http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b362/mo15/ZT%20Screenshots/Zoo075.jpg) (I won't be showing any pictures of things to the left just yet, the area is still under constuction and blocked off so guests do not wander and get in my way)
Entracnce w/o foliage (http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b362/mo15/ZT%20Screenshots/Zoo076.jpg)
-
Near there the "mini ice age"--> tortoises and wooly rhinos (http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b362/mo15/ZT%20Screenshots/Zoo080.jpg)
The allosaurus exhibit (http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b362/mo15/ZT%20Screenshots/Zoo078.jpg) is in the right corner.
A restaurant and play area (http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b362/mo15/ZT%20Screenshots/Zoo079.jpg) for the guests.
Here is an overview (http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b362/mo15/ZT%20Screenshots/Zoo081.jpg) of what I've shown you so far.
I am really liking this invisible fence download since you can't actually see the dots this time! :woot:
-
Your exhibits are wonderful! I wish mine looked that good when I used ZT1.
-
Wow!!! I love this Dino Park Mo---the entrance is very original and simply spectacular! I was wondering if you were using the Inivisble Fence when I saw the Mammoth and tortoise exhibits, and sure enough you are!:woot: It has a very authentic look to it. The play area is just adorable-I always forget to leave enough room in mine to put in the dino slide. This is going to be an awesome zoo because it's already off to be fabulous start!
Keep Building!!
-
@ Alice -- fine, but your zoobuilding is amazing as well and I shall not drop THAT until you agree, comprende? : :P :

And wow, comments like that from masters like Firehawke and Seraphii? Thank you!
The zoo is finished! I only used a small zoo, I just seem to like them better lol and since it was dino's it went by quite quickly!
Herrerasaurus (http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b362/mo15/ZT%20Screenshots/Zoo083.jpg) are in the back corner near the ice age animals.
Beside them, the apatasaurus. (http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b362/mo15/ZT%20Screenshots/Zoo084.jpg)

Behind that, some spinosaurus. (http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b362/mo15/ZT%20Screenshots/Zoo087.jpg) You can also see the mini golf.
Moving to the front corner, another restaurant and some plesiosaurus (http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b362/mo15/ZT%20Screenshots/Zoo089.jpg).
Back to the entrance, the caudipteryx (http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b362/mo15/ZT%20Screenshots/Zoo091.jpg) (sp? i honestly have no idea...) --part that was under construction before.

the Eating area is awesoem too!
-
This is a great dino zoo Mo! You used my 2 most favorites ones too-the plesiosaurus and the Caudi..'s...can never remember how to spell that one! That was a great idea to use the lava flow and tar pic as decor items that way  I'll be looking forward to seeing the overview pics when you get time!!
Keep Building!
-
Awesome Zoo! Knowing that you can build like that, the MM zoo is going to be amazing! Can't wait for more.:specool:

Seraphii - Yes, you! Your zoos are super dooper! And the invisible fencing... Guide, guide, guide! It's a lifesaver...

I finally started the MM zoo! =D
The Entrance (http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b362/mo15/ZT%20Screenshots/Zoo101.jpg) is rather simple this time... I downloaded Wild Wings so it's got a special exhibit as a centerpiece!
To the left, the dolphin (http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b362/mo15/ZT%20Screenshots/Zoo103.jpg) exhibit.
And the orcas (http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b362/mo15/ZT%20Screenshots/Zoo105.jpg) are on the right.
An Overview (http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b362/mo15/ZT%20Screenshots/Zoo106.jpg) so far. And yes, the zoo is recovering from the attack of Alfred H, those pesky guests were being... pesky... :whistling
-
XD Mo,this is awesome!! wowowow! your zoos are always grea, and i get a smile every time i see them!
-
Very pretty pics, mo! I know its impossible, but its still a shame we can't zoom in closer on zt1.: :( :
-
I hear ya, happyholly. I too wish we could zoom in more...alas...
But fortunately Mo provided us with stellar examples of ZT1 Zoo Building!
-
Wow...now I shall have to ask you for building lessons too! =P LOVE the orcas.
-
Great pics Mo and an even better layout! I should try the Wild Wings sometime.
-
Wow great entrance! and great exhibits! Im amazed when i look at these zt1 S&T threads, the creative-ness in ZT1 that I could never and will never master lol Nice zoos!
-
 Those are great pics! Wow, I will never be as good in ZT1 but I will never get tired of looking at yours! (You know, I really wish we could do the stairs in ZT2...) lol... it makes everything look so 'finished' ... Can't wait to see more pictures!
-
Thanks, as always, for the wonderful comments!!!
happyholly - I think there is a way to zoom in a little closer by changing some settings, but it just makes everything pixel-y. =(
Alice - not if i take them from you first! =0
Sorry for the loooong delay in getting pics. Everything is always seems to be more chaotic in September. :juggle:
Added some jellyfish (http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b362/mo15/ZT%20Screenshots/Zoo107.jpg), sorry that the tank is sunken so low, but the bottom really isn't that interesting anyway. =P
Also some turtles (http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b362/mo15/ZT%20Screenshots/Zoo108.jpg) on the opposite side.
And... great whites (http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b362/mo15/ZT%20Screenshots/Zoo110.jpg)! =0 With another restaurant as well.
-
In the middle of all those exhibits there is a little pond area (http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b362/mo15/ZT%20Screenshots/Zoo109.jpg) with boat rides. Not always fond of what they do to the guests sometimes, but they seem to be keeping happy enough.
And last but not least, and overview (http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b362/mo15/ZT%20Screenshots/Zoo111.jpg) of what has been added.
Hopefully I'll be able to finish up soon! :original:
-
It's lovely Mo . I like the pond area it looks so peaceful.
-
OMGIZZLE!!!!! I LOVE THAT SHOT!!! =D
very nice work mo! the overview shot looks sweet!
the great white rock too!
-
Wow. That pond is awesome! It's people like you that inspired me to take up ZT1 again...
-
Wow, these zoo's are great, Mo.
One thing though...... this way of showing zoo's by screenpix are hard to see how something is put together. I kinda wish I can rotate the pic or even see the zoo in action with the way guests walk and their patterns as they move between exhibits and attractions. I tend to learn more that way, I guess.
Is there any way to post the zoo after getting done with it so that we can download it? Along with a list of downloaded items?
:loony:
:jester2:
-
Mo, how dare you even compare me to you! =P You are so much better, and I adore your zoo. I love that last shot.
-
This is a lovely zoo, Mo. I love that last pic!!
-
Thanks everyone! (Especially Rosina... I forgot about posting new pics, I'm too lazy! XD)
Zoomeister: I can see if I can get it up, but I've never submitted anything for download before...
(If I do, it'll have to wait at least until after the weekend because I'm really busy up till then. )
And my profit won't be looking very nice... I'm too impatient unless it's a scenario.
Alice: I will compare you to me as I see fit. =P
On to pictures!
Another exhibit added was some mermaids (http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b362/mo15/ZT%20Screenshots/Zoo113.jpg)...
And then a few belugas (http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b362/mo15/ZT%20Screenshots/Zoo112.jpg), and a foot court.
Which filled the rest up! Finished! =D
-
Overviews!!!
Front of the zoo (http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b362/mo15/ZT%20Screenshots/Zoo114.jpg)
Corner ish part (http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b362/mo15/ZT%20Screenshots/Zoo115.jpg)... the middle.
Far back corner area (http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b362/mo15/ZT%20Screenshots/Zoo116.jpg)
That's all folks!
Here are the stats... at least, I think these are the right ones. XD
Zoo Rating: 88
Animal Hapiness: 98
Guest Hapiness: 93
# Exhibits: 8
# Animals: 25
# Guests: approx. 320
# Benefactors: 27

WOW! =O I LOVE your zoos!!! THE BELUGAS LOOKS AMAZING! and the mermaids are wow!
and the overviews! :surprise:
-
It's lovely Mo15:wub:. The front of the zoo looks especially nice.
-
Thanks very much you two, glad you liked it!
Started a new zoo today, I think this one is going to be purely avian since I haven't gotten a chance to experiment with WW yet, and what better way to do so than build a zoo with every bird in it?
Only the entrance is finished, haven't added any animals yet so hopefully I can work on that before the weekend! Hope you enjoy these little "teasers" for now...
View 1, with foliage... (http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b362/mo15/ZT%20Screenshots/Zoo117.jpg)

Edit: Wow, I became observant and saw the little message scrolling across the ZT1 Show and Tell forum! Who did that? What an honour! :blushing:
-
Very nice Mo! Hehe, I don't know who did it but it's definetly cool!! Awesome zoos!
-
Nice pics, mo! And I like the idea of a totally avian zoo! Hey, I haven't seen that WWF poster before. Is that available here at ZA?
-
Wow thats very nice! I think that poster is here at ZA, not sure.
I love the zoo Mo!
-
Beautiful work mo! ^___^
that looks awesome!
-
Nice pics, mo! And I like the idea of a totally avian zoo! Hey, I haven't seen that WWF poster before. Is that available here at ZA?

-
WOW!!! they are AMAZING!!! im gonna find my ZT1 disk!
-
As always, everyone's comments are appreciated! (Even if I don't get back to you for almost a month... :blushing: )
So I suppose this is long overdue, but I've got a couple new pictures for you guys and hopefully more coming not too far away.
I've added my first two species to the zoo, the original game birds. (I needed to get them over with! lol), the WW ones will be added next.
Ostriches! (http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b362/mo15/ZT%20Screenshots/Zoo123.jpg)
Flamingoes! (http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b362/mo15/ZT%20Screenshots/Zoo125.jpg)
-
Wow mop! those exhibits looks superfantastical! *cant remember the whole word <_<*
I <3 the ostrich! and the flamingos are Ah mazink =P
-
Finally, building time, sweet building time. *hugs the computer*
I've added a few more exhibits to the zoo!
Unfortunately (or fortunately? lol), I got ZT2: Zookeeper Collection, so when I get the chance I will probably be mucking about with that. Don't know if I want to post pics, my ZT2 skills are probably more than a little shabby as of yet. XD
So, I shall show you these, and I don't know if I'll get back to this zoo or not, we'll have to see...
Across from the flamingoes, there are a pair of shoebill storks (http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b362/mo15/ZT%20Screenshots/Zoo130.jpg).
Beside them, a restaurant and some crowned cranes (http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b362/mo15/ZT%20Screenshots/Zoo129.jpg).
Near there, the last savannah bird, the emu (http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b362/mo15/ZT%20Screenshots/Zoo128.jpg)! (sorry for the switching of angles)
Next we take you to Fantasy Corner, where there are pegasus (http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b362/mo15/ZT%20Screenshots/Zoo127.jpg) and phoenix (http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b362/mo15/ZT%20Screenshots/Zoo126.jpg). (I've also got california condors, but i guess i forgot to take a screenshot *sadness*)
That's all I've got for now... sorry to leave you guys hanging. : :( :
-
YAY! Mo, you're always awesome when it comes to zoos! WW rocks, aye? Keep it up!
-
WONDERFUL WORK! I love the shoebill and crane exhibits! the phoenix looks awesome! the pegasus is WOW! and the emu is
-
I love your landscaping! The layout is really good. The entrance is a work of inspiration!!! I especially enjoy the emu exhibit! Keep up the great work!
-
I love all the pictures, they are all so beautiful! I love how you use invisible fencing and then use decorative fencing, so classy!
-
Mo, these pics are gorgeous! I am so out of touch with ZT1 dl's. I had no idea we had pegasus and phoenix available!
Lets see those cali condors soon, eh?
-
a WW pack??? where is it available? ive never even heard of it!! lol...newayz...your zoos are unmatched!! you sure do know how to fiddle around with Zt1!! i was never that good in ZT1!!
-
those are amazing pics
-
Your zoos are really great Mo15! I wish I could make zoos that spectacular.
-
Gah, I can't stay away! There's a little voice in my head that goes, "Play ZT2! Get those campaigns and challenges done! Unlock stuff! Experiment!", but the other voice says, "I hate ZT1 Zoo Builders! They keep coming back and make me miss the game!" And the second voice won out for now. :hammer2:
I've finished adding all the birds except for the rainforest ones... but when I started that section my game crashed. I don't know if it's because my computer sucks and can't handle much more, of it's some download. I've never had this problem before so I don't think it's any of the downloads.

Now before I go, I'll leave you guys with some overviews. :)
The beginning of that side of the zoo, a savannah-ish area I've already shown you guys.

Those are great, Mo! You've really got a talent Me->:worthy: :pman:<-You :-P
-
My dear little MO!!! Forgive me for not visiting more often, but I'm so glad I stopped by today!!
OutStanding Job, Way To Go! Even though this zoo is literally "for the birds" :happy2: it is very well designed with great foliage and decorating all around. It looks like you use the invisible fence and you do it very well indeed. Have you tried making your own maps with the ZA Map Editor? If not, you should--your natural talent would produce some awesome new maps for us ZT1 diehards! I hope that you can get our game back up and running soon so you can bring us some more wonderful zoo pics!!
Keep Building! :construct:

TT - If you ever find the time (or the disk  ), I would LOVE to see some of your pictures! :D
Lady Z - No... I've never used the map editor, actually. I might have to try it out... ;)
Seraphii - Shush. Puns rock. :P
Okay, I promise you guys some pictures this weekend. No matter what. Because I really need to play!
-
Mo15 you will like the map editor. After seeing your pics I'm sure you will be quite creative with it as well.
-
Hmm... this map editor is sounding good! I just don't know how often I'll get to use it!
Well whenever I get to the certain point in the WW zoo, no matter what I've put in or the order I've done it, my game crashes. So I started a new zoo for my rainforest birds, and it worked fine!
I don't know if I'll get everything posted tonight, but I'll start.
First off, the entrance - rather simple.
(All pics will be with and without foliage.)
-
Angle switch for a better view of the blue and gold macaws.
-
Next up, the golden conures. Also a rainforest restaurant and the caribbean flamingoes (these guys breed like mad!) - easy enough to see so I didn't take a no foliage shot.
-
Near them, the toco toucans. They like hiding!
You'll have to see the rest tomorrow though... :whistling:
-
Sorry to hear about your WW zoo, but this one looks like it's off to a good start! Keep those pics coming!
-
man, i love your zoos! i especially love the pic of the rainforest resturaunt with the carribean flamingos nearby
-
I love the pics Mo! The rainforest exhibits are so pretty, I love the toucans.
