Last pic for now is the overview shot.

FYI---school starts up again next week, so I might not be able to build as much for a while.

Gorgeous pics as ever, Firehawke! School? Booo! Nothing should keep you from building!

Just curious about something: have you never considered investing in ZT2? Your zt1 artistry is so exceptional, I can't imagine how beautiful your zt2 pics would be?! : :) :

Thanks for all of the great comments!

@Rosina---I made sure to take some time this morning to play.  After all, you can build a little bit in 15 minutes, but you can't get much homework done in that amount of time :uhuh:  And as for ZT2, I've thought about it, but it turns out that my comp. is just a little short on the required amount of RAM for the game. :pout:  Thanks for you confidence in my abilities, though!

@LadyZ---Thanks!  Sometimes, I tend to build the exhibits a little small so that I can fit more in, but lately, I've just wanted to spread them out and let the animals have plenty of room.  I still have to remind myself of that sometimes, though.

@Kiwibuddy---Thanks!  I like to fill as much of the areas up as possible.  When I see an empty space, it calls to me and nags me until I fill it, even if it's just with a piece of foliage or a bench : :P :

I have 2 pics to post tonight.  I started working on an area where the animals look a little alike.  I'm sure you guys can pick up on the similarities.  Since I just had about 15 minutes this morning, I didn't finish the whole area.
First pic is the giant squid, which I placed right by a building that features this animal...

Second pic is the Lions Mane Jelly.  Note what's next to the tank!  That's right, they're going to have a show!
Enjoy the pics!

Hey guys---
Thanks for all of the wonderful comments!  I really appreciate them!
I'm just going to post a few pics.  I've worked on this zoo a little bit, but not much lately.  I finished the Lions Mane Jelly show area and placed the Giant Pacific Octopus next to it...

Okay, I think I've gotten the hang of attachments on the new board.
Here's another OV, but a different angle.  I don't have the show running very often, because the jellyfish are getting cranky.  I might have to do some tweaking of the zoo.

One last pic for a while (I hope to be back on during Spring Break, if not before) is a comic relief pic.

Why can't some of the guests stay on the path?!?!?!

Thanks Eragon!!!
Here's another pic.  It's a walrus exhibit (I think).   This area might not be in the completed zoo, however.  I'm thinking about cutting out a lot of what I've recently built.  I'll keep the front area, but past that, I'm not too sure.  Keep your eyes peeled for when I start building more!

Yup, they do!  It's an easter egg.  Their tricks are "Move Up" and "Move Down" (or is it "Swim" instead of "Move"???).
I hope to post more pics later.

I'm back.  Here's a look at an area that I started to create for the sharks.  It's based on a zoo that I mapped out that would feature the sharks and be built on the excavation map.  This is one of the areas that I deleted.  I might try working with it again.  It depends on how the zoo goes...

Man, it's been a while since I last played ZT1, but so far, your zoo looks a lot better than what I usually built in ZT1! Good job, dude!

Thanks african_elephant_2006!  :ty1:  I bet your ZT1 zoos look pretty good!

It sometimes takes a while to get everything right.  Take this pic for example---I built this area, and then I decided that it need to be changed.  In the upper left hand corner, you can see where the edge of the shark area was going to be.
Here's what it looked like, with the foliage and buildings hidden...
