I've begun a new Brick-themed pack at ZooTek, and decided to make a screen with one of the new fountains.  I like it so much that I wanted to share it - it'll make a great courtyard area :)

The voting for the winner of the ZTUF Japan screenshot contest has begun, so if you're a member, check out the screens and vote here: http://zoxaeus.com/ZTForums/index.php?showtopic=6394&hl=

If you like that one, you should check out my Tek projects thread here: http://www.zoo-tek.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=1838&pid=8024&st=20&#entry8024  I've made 6 four-tile fountains that turned out just beautifully, and you can request anything you like for the new pack :)  One of these days I'll get caught up on my projects and get my ZA paths done!

This was another contest zoo that had to be all marine animals, and it was either a large or medium map (can't remember which).  I chose to go with an Atlantean/rainforest theme for it, and filled the whole map somehow :rolleyes

just a question, where did you get the tunnel in the second pic, it is so cool!!

Oh, I just love the underwater tunnels, too  You can have 2 different openings for guests - one will make it an attraction, and the other will make it a restaurant!  They're available at ZooTek: http://www.zoo-tek.com/forums/index.php?download=196

Thanks, Bengal! :D

I'm really excited about the celebration over at Tek, and there are some things that the Dragon Riders (club I'm in) have been busy with for a couple of months!  These screenshots aren't going to be used, but I like them, so I'm going to share them here!  These are a *few* of the items the Dragon Riders will be releasing, and there's much, much more that others of Tek have been working on, as well!

Ooh, the castles are really cool, as is the rest of the stuff, they all go so well together!  They would certainly make for an interesting zoo!

Here's something I'm really excited about - I did the graphics for these over a YEAR ago!!  Fences are not an easy thing!  I can only take credit for the graphics, as fern and Jay took care of the hard part ;)  Y'all are the first (besides the Dragon Riders) to see these, not even the Tekkies have seen these yet.

Some of the Dragon Rider items have been released now :D

Here's a new zoo, featuring some of the brick-themed items.  Overview of what I have so far:

Guests can take the ramp up to view the unicorns, or they might decide to take the one of the elevators!

I just love the elevators, they're so much fun!  They're programmed to have the door closed when in use, and guests love them.
Only problem is that there doesn't currently seem to be a way to program a DOWN elevator, which is why there's a ramp leading up, as well.  Besides, only happy guests will use attractions, so we wouldn't want any angry guests stuck at the top of a cliff :P
More screens soon :D

I've made the layout of this zoo completely different than usual.  I normally put a food court right inside the entrance area, but not this time!

In front of the moose and black bear exhibits is a guest area:

At the base of the unicorn cliff is the croc exhibit.

An interesting thing to note is that guests at the bottom of the cliff CAN see the unicorns - apparantly, map depth does not affect the guests' ability to see.

Only problem is that there doesn't currently seem to be a way to program a DOWN elevator

Although there is no way to configure a Down elevator that is next to a cliff, it is possible to configure a Down elevator that is on top of a cliff. It is just a matter of having graphics that look appropriate and realistic.
