The last exhibit in this zoo is the Lava Leopard.  This colorful animal needs a lot of elevation, and will only accept Himilayan Pine trees for foliage.  They actually don't like the fire in their exhibit, so the fires are separated from the exhibit by invisible fencing:

The final shots of this zoo are the overviews:

I do have quite a few User Created Items, but I mostly use my own (creations).  For the botanical screenshot, I did some extra pretties from here at ZA, among other sites, though ;)
Once I'm feeling better I'll get back to making some new zoos :D  Not to mention all the projects I'm working on right now...there are only about a dozen different directions I'm being pulled in right now. lol~ hehe

I put this together for a screenshot contest at ZTUF.  The theme is Japan, and must feature at least one animal.

"Take a relaxing tour of the Japanese Gardens, where you can sit by the tranquil pond, admire the Serow or visit the shrines."

The only time I put 2 restaurants close together is on a small map.  These 2 restaurants will feed every person in the zoo up to the max allowed guests (1000).  There are no other food stands or snack machines (or bathrooms, etc) in the whole zoo.  I will put in the first restaurant and just leave an empty space for the 2nd restaurant until there seem to be a lot of hungry guests - THEN I add the 2nd one.  For small maps, it's been a very successful tactic to use - they make loads of money and the guests are very happy :D

The Japanese Pic took about...mmm...maybe an hour?  The contest ends soon, and the winner will be voted on by ZTUF members.  At the moment there are only 2 other entries, so at this point I'll at least end up in one of the top 3 spots!

Abalone Zoo (named after the path) Entrance:

Show area:

Mixed exhibit - I didn't know this work work, but this is a wonderful mix (with high 90's suitability) of belugas, harbor porpoises, dolphins and mermaids:

In the foreground is a mixed shark exhibit, and beyond that...I had no idea that Manta Rays and Barracuda are so compatible!  I took this pic right after my mantas gave birth to FOUR offspring at once!

The first 3 pics are GORGEOUS! I love that path! Does it come with MM? I just got CC today so I don't know what comes with and what's downloaded [yet!].

The tank walls on that last picture are pretty too.

However do you find such...interesting...mixed exhibits?

I've been coming up with "interesting" mixed exhibits because I've been experimenting! :D
The "Abalone Avenue" pathway was made by my protege at ZTUF, Stormy.  Between the two of us, we have over 200 paths out ^__^ See?  The Stepping Stone path is just my most recent release. :)
The waterfalls (one the elevated portion of the restaurants) are actually an animated fence (well, fences, actually) that I made for Tek - along with matching, animated water-terrain paths (so that you can have water running down slopes!).
