It's been a long...long time since Ive played ZT1 and also a long time since Ive built a zoo in either ZT1 or ZT2.  But here I built an African desert zoo in Arizona.  There are only african animals here.

We will start with the overviews of the zoo and then get up close to the action.

This zoo has over 70 benefactors, 337 guests (I keep the number of guests down to prevent trash and crowding the animals) and about 9 million dollars.

Here is the entrance of the zoo.  I tried to go with a bit of a North African theme in this section however I did put a lot of foliage to boost guests happiness.

The lions are perhaps one of the most sucessful exhibets in the zoo.  They are very attractive and the zoo has already had 8 cubs born.  Five males and three feamles.  Three of the cubs are now adults and can be seen in this picture.

Thank you Zoo Animal!  I have plenty left!

Here are the wildebeest, another highly successful exhibet.  They have had about 6 calves.  I started out with three.  You can also see the reptile house here.

Here is the african wild dog exhibet.  They have had 6 pups.  There are 6 adults in here, 3 males and 3 females.  Allthe pups were sold to other zoos.

Here are the hippos.  They are the only animals in the zoo with a tank.  Allowing the guests to see underwater and view the hippos grazing on the bottom of the tank really boosts their happiness.  The hippos have had two calves.

Here are the gorgeous african leopards.  They are very content in their home and have had one cub that you can see in the picture.

If you dine in the elevated resteraunt, there are windows that overlook the gemsbok exhibet.  Two calves have been born in here.

Here you can see the residents of a thickly forested exhibet.  These okapi are quite shy.  There have been no births yet, but we're still hoping.

Here are the African cape buffalo, also known as cape buffalo.  They are kept in a pit exhibet because they are so dangerous and the younger guests like to provoke them to charge by making faces and yelling.

The Black Rhinos are quite happy, but they get crowded easily.  They are in the middle of the zoo away from the main paths.  They can only be viewed if you enter behind the fountain.  Even though they have a lot of privacy, there still hasn't been a baby, but then again they are quite new to the zoo.

Unfortunately, I was only joking, but they can bash the fence and attack guests if they get angry so I do pit them one level.

Here is the last exhibet, the bongos.  They have also had quite a few babies.  Four in fact.  This little food court is the most sucessful one in the zoo apart from the elevated resteraunt.  These buildings have made LOADS of money.
