Beautiful Ladyz I'm not good with downloads. Yours looks nice, i wish they had an update patch for zt1 so we can get more stuff without downloading off here. It confuses me.

Thank you Kiger and Seraphii. I agree that downloads can be confusing at times Kiger, but I would suggest that you start out with very simple ones first like statues or foliage. This will give you a handle on how to unzip them and get used to which folders they will go in to. Just an idea :original:

I started a new zoo last night after I got home from work. I wasn't feeling very well, so I needed to just relax a bit. Here are the first pics of it-I'm using my own map, LZNY Medium Boardwalk Zoo Map availabe here for download in the ZT1 Downloads Marine Mania section.

The entrance with the addition of the Rain forest pond and the Aviary.

http://i49.photobucket.com/albums/f253/LadySlopokes/ZooPics/MedBdwkAviaryPond.jpg

The first exhibit is for the Asian Elephants.

http://i49.photobucket.com/albums/f253/LadySlopokes/ZooPics/MedBdwkAsianEleph.jpg

Next to the Elephants I put in the Bongos (haven't used them in a while).

http://i49.photobucket.com/albums/f253/LadySlopokes/ZooPics/MedBdwkBongos.jpg

The last exhibit so far are my favorite White Bengal Tigers.

http://i49.photobucket.com/albums/f253/LadySlopokes/ZooPics/MedBdwkWhiteTigers.jpg

Last pic is the first overview, which also shows the Rain Forest Cafe which was the last thing I put in.

http://i49.photobucket.com/albums/f253/LadySlopokes/ZooPics/MedBdwkOviewRF1.jpg

I hope to get a bit more done soon, but the next few days are going to be pretty busy for us here. Hope you like! :blushing:

Here are a few new pics from some building I did last night. I filled in some blank spots in the rain forest area and started a Savannah section on the other side of the entrance. Here are the Green Peafowl, which fit perfectly between the Aviary and the Rain Forest Cafe, and the Malasian Tapirs on the other side of the restaurant.

http://i49.photobucket.com/albums/f253/LadySlopokes/ZooPics/MedBdwkGrnPfowlTapirs.jpg

I built the Rain Forest restaurant surrournded by a lagoon with a waterfall.

http://i49.photobucket.com/albums/f253/LadySlopokes/ZooPics/MedBdwkRFruinsRest.jpg

While I was building some Savannah exhibits, my beautiful White Bengals grace me with a baby!

http://i49.photobucket.com/albums/f253/LadySlopokes/ZooPics/MedBdwkWhiteTigerBaby.jpg

The first two exhibits on the Savannah side are the African Elephants and Ostrichs (another animal I don't use very often).

http://i49.photobucket.com/albums/f253/LadySlopokes/ZooPics/MedBdwkElephOstrich.jpg

Behind the Ostrich exhibit I put in the Bush Tuck restaurant with a patio.

http://i49.photobucket.com/albums/f253/LadySlopokes/ZooPics/MedBdwkOstrichBushTuck.jpg

The patio has now been turned into a viewing patio for the Hippo exhibit. This pic was taken with the foliage turned off.

http://i49.photobucket.com/albums/f253/LadySlopokes/ZooPics/MedBdwkBushTuckHippos.jpg

Next to the African Elephants is the Desert Terrarium.

http://i49.photobucket.com/albums/f253/LadySlopokes/ZooPics/MedBdwkElephDesertTerr.jpg

The last exhibit I built last night was the biggest I think I've done in a very long time. Here are the Lions with a grand viewing terrace.

http://i49.photobucket.com/albums/f253/LadySlopokes/ZooPics/MedBdwkLions.jpg

A side view of the viewing terrace, and yes the guests are actually using it!

http://i49.photobucket.com/albums/f253/LadySlopokes/ZooPics/MedBdwkLionsSideView.jpg

Last 2 pics are the overviews, the updated rain forest overview is first.

http://i49.photobucket.com/albums/f253/LadySlopokes/ZooPics/MedBdwkOviewRF2.jpg

http://i49.photobucket.com/albums/f253/LadySlopokes/ZooPics/MedBdwkOviewSav1.jpg

Hope you enjoy these, I probably won't be back to building for a few days due to some weekend activities. Take care all! :blushing:

Wow! Those are beautiful.

My lions breed like rabbits, so they do need big exhibits. I love the viewing area on that one. Very pretty. :D

Keep up the great work!

Hello again and thank you to everyone for your wonderful compliments! They are all greatly appreciated.

Well, FH is right-I've been busy building again, but today is the first chance I've had to get the pics posted. My last building session concentrated mostly on the rain forest side. I've created a section that I call Primate Row. It starts with the Primate House, with the Crested Gibbons next to it followed by the Black & White Colobus Monkeys.

http://i49.photobucket.com/albums/f253/LadySlopokes/ZooPics/MedBdwkCrestonGibbons.jpg

A better view of the exhibits, and both species have already had babies!

http://i49.photobucket.com/albums/f253/LadySlopokes/ZooPics/MedBdwkGibbonsColobus.jpg

At the end of the walkway, and behind the Rain Forest Restaurant, I put in one of my favortive (and shyest) animals, the Okapi. I went a little nuts with their viewing area!

http://i49.photobucket.com/albums/f253/LadySlopokes/ZooPics/MedBdwkOkapi.jpg

Across from the Gibbons and B&W monkeys, there is the Hard Rock Cafe with a small moat around it.

http://i49.photobucket.com/albums/f253/LadySlopokes/ZooPics/MedBdwkHardRockLagoon.jpg

The Lowland Gorilla exhibit is directly across from the Primate House, and they too have already had a baby.

http://i49.photobucket.com/albums/f253/LadySlopokes/ZooPics/MedBdwkLowlandGorillas.jpg

Baby pic--he's sooo cute!!
http://i49.photobucket.com/albums/f253/LadySlopokes/ZooPics/MedBdwkLowlandBaby.jpg

I did put in 2 new exhibits on the Savannah side--these are the Giraffes.

http://i49.photobucket.com/albums/f253/LadySlopokes/ZooPics/MedBdwkGiraffes.jpg

Their new baby, without the foliage-and you can see that my Lions are going nuts too!

http://i49.photobucket.com/albums/f253/LadySlopokes/ZooPics/MedBdwkGiraffeBabyNoFol.jpg

The last new exhibit is for the Flamingos, with a Mexican Restaurant across from them.

http://i49.photobucket.com/albums/f253/LadySlopokes/ZooPics/MedBdwkMexRestFlamingos.jpg

Newest overview pic of the Savannah side, and there's a spy in the sky!! Hey, where's his ticket?

http://i49.photobucket.com/albums/f253/LadySlopokes/ZooPics/MedBdwkSavGateCrasher.jpg

I'm so glad you all have enjoyed my efforts! Thank you very, very much! Well, yesterday I took a day off from the whole world and just vegged and relaxed for the first time in months! So, guess what I did? Yeppers, I just went on a building spree!  I have now completed the front half of the zoo. I'm going to do this in 2 posts-this one will show the last of the rain forest section, the next one will be the Savannah side. The back 2 sections will be forest and possibly tundra (haven't quite decided yet). So sit back, grab your favorite beverage, and hopefully you will enjoy the tour!

The centerpiece of the zoo had to be filled in, so I put in the Carousel with my trademark ice cream stand, a small play area with swings and bouncy toys, and LOTS of decorating. When my guests were getting hungry/thristy, etc, I put in Ben & Jerrys.

http://i49.photobucket.com/albums/f253/LadySlopokes/ZooPics/MedBdwkCarouselBJplay.jpg

My Black & White Colobus Monkeys kept complaining that their exhibit was too small (which it kinda was) so I enlarged it before I put in the last primate exhibit. This is their newly redone exhibit.

http://i49.photobucket.com/albums/f253/LadySlopokes/ZooPics/MedBdwkBWmonkeyRedo.jpg

The last rain forest exhibit that was built was for my orangutans--if you look really close you'll see the big guy on top of this jungle jim!!

http://i49.photobucket.com/albums/f253/LadySlopokes/ZooPics/MedBdwkOrangutans.jpg

FINALLY!! I have an Okapi baby!

http://i49.photobucket.com/albums/f253/LadySlopokes/ZooPics/MedBdwkBabyOkapi.jpg

This is the final overview of the Rain Forest section. Is it me or does everyone think that the Rain Forest sections are always the prettiest to work with?

Here are the pics of the last of the Savannah exhibits that I built yesterday. The first exhibit to go in were the Gazelles across from the Carousel.

http://i49.photobucket.com/albums/f253/LadySlopokes/ZooPics/MedBdwkGazelles.jpg

The next animal to get a new home were the Olive Baboons, behind the Mexican Restaurant.

http://i49.photobucket.com/albums/f253/LadySlopokes/ZooPics/MedBdwkOliveBaboons.jpg

The restaurant area needed some sprucing up with more flowers and a couple of fountains.

http://i49.photobucket.com/albums/f253/LadySlopokes/ZooPics/MedBdwkMexRestFoliage.jpg

My giraffes needed some nice neighbors, so I moved in some Zebras. What's this??? A "Zoo of the Year Award"?? WOW!! This is only the 3rd time I have ever achieved that award!!

http://i49.photobucket.com/albums/f253/LadySlopokes/ZooPics/MedBdwkZebras.jpg

I must love grazing animals, because after the Zebras moved in so the did the Black Bucks, and they started breeding immediately!

http://i49.photobucket.com/albums/f253/LadySlopokes/ZooPics/MedBdwkBlackBucks.jpg

The next cutie to arrive were the Red Kangaroos--and Mrs was so happy she just layed right down and took a nap.

http://i49.photobucket.com/albums/f253/LadySlopokes/ZooPics/MedBdwkKangaroos.jpg

Already??!!!

http://i49.photobucket.com/albums/f253/LadySlopokes/ZooPics/MedBdwkBabyRoo.jpg

Behind the Kangaroo exhibit I put in the Elephant ride because my guests were getting bored.

http://i49.photobucket.com/albums/f253/LadySlopokes/ZooPics/MedBdwkEleRideRoos.jpg

The addition of one last restaurant across from the Gazelles completed the building of the Savannah section.

http://i49.photobucket.com/albums/f253/LadySlopokes/ZooPics/MedBdwkGazellesRestRoos.jpg

And, of course, the final overview of the completed area.

http://i49.photobucket.com/albums/f253/LadySlopokes/ZooPics/MedBdwkSavannahFinalOview.jpg

Hope you have enjoyed the tour, I don't know when I'll be able to do more building-it's back to real life today :ermm:

AAwww, c'mon now, it's not all that! Everyone is just so sweet and gracious--thank you so much! I've done some prep work for the back half of the zoo. Most of you who are familiar with my previous zoos know that I like to create terraces and raised levels, so that's what I did last night. I also added a few small attractions and another exhibit on the rain forest side to fill in a gap. I also forgot to include a pic of my Javan Rhino exhibit during the last postings. I'll try to get that one up tonight or early tomorrow. I'm at work right now, so I don't have access to my game...what a shame too--it's so  b o r i n g

Before I call it a night and completely melt away in a puddle (very hot & humid here in NY state tonight) I decided to post some of the pics that I spoke about earlier.

First up is the Javan Rhino exhibit as promised. They had a baby when I wasn't looking and now he's all grown up too!

http://i49.photobucket.com/albums/f253/LadySlopokes/ZooPics/MedBdwkJavanRhinos.jpg

The Komono Dragon exhibit fit in very nicely to fill up a gap I had in the rain forest section.

http://i49.photobucket.com/albums/f253/LadySlopokes/ZooPics/MedBdwkKomonoDragons.jpg

Now for the new section--I am theming this front part like an Oriental Forest or garden. This is the entrance (wish I had Oriental arches that are double wide  ).

http://i49.photobucket.com/albums/f253/LadySlopokes/ZooPics/MedBdwkOrientalForestEnt.jpg

It starts out with the Walk Thru Aquarium, then there's the Ice Pagota. I put in the Koi Pond and the Rock Garden on either side of the Japanese Garden attraction. This pic has the foliage turned off for a better view.

http://i49.photobucket.com/albums/f253/LadySlopokes/ZooPics/MedBdwkOrientalForestEntNoFol.jpg

Here are my beautiful Siberian Tigers :blushing:

http://i49.photobucket.com/albums/f253/LadySlopokes/ZooPics/MedBdwkSiberianTigers.jpg

Here is the first overview pic of the Oriental Forest.

http://i49.photobucket.com/albums/f253/LadySlopokes/ZooPics/MedBdwkOrientalForestOview1.jpg

Hope you like!
