Okay, My Desert Elephant has no name and it's zoopedia redirects to the African Elephants. I tried using the guide in 'Common problems' - did not help. Does anybody know how to fix this???

Have you tried to look in the lang/1033 file? That is probably where your problem is

Be sure to open the xml files in Internet Explorer or another XML document reader, because it will point out mistakes like this

It should. If not, go to the Common Problems thread again and make sure you have done everything right

Nope that's fine. I think you need to check the ai files, and make sure you are using lower case where it says zoopedia

I did, it's in lowercase.

Also, do the sounds need to be re-named with the new codename, btw?

no no no. For that, you just change the first thing like this:

and it will reference the sounds that came with the game.

As for your zoopedia, please try to open it up with Internet Explorer and see if it gives you any errors. Thats the fastest way to do it!

- Have you misspelled the codename anywhere?
- Have you made sure in the XML files that you have gotten ALL of the names changed? Sometimes they use multiple ones.
- Are all of the files named correctly? Make sure that if you are using capital codenames that you capitalize the file names as well.
- Run all of the xml files through IE for any possible breaks in line of code
