For all of you who are tired of the boring old empty MM2 tundra and pelagic exhibits, I have a solution. I just found out that animals from those two biomes can actually tolerate and enjoy having kelp in their exhibits! Say goodbye to emptyness and hello to kelp forest. I haven't tested any other plants yet; but when I tested the kelp, the animals became happier immediately and started swimming through it. The biome satisfaction also increased when one the animals was only half way satisfied.

Thanks for the great tip, MarineManiac!! :specool: :flipper:

finally!!! this sounds promising:happy:

Your welcome guys. I tested some more plants out and pelagic animals can tolerate all plants from the coastal and reef biomes. Not sure about rocks though.

sweet!!! i can finally have some fullness in my exhibits,

Great! it really did get on my nerves how empty those biomes are. No more worrying about that!
-
None of the animals mind the sunken ships/cannons/treasure chest either - the sharks even swim through them, so you could use them in your pelagic exhibits.

Good discovery! I've only tried it on land for my hybrid exhibits, never for my tanks.

I know! It started to bug me. ALOT. :jedi: Sorry.. i wanted to do that. :sweatingb
Anyways, :sign_than

If you want tundra and pelagic foliage, you could download some from this site - penguika made fantastic sargassum for pelagic tanks and callerigon(?) moss for tundra tanks.

Pretty much anything works in Coastal biome
