Aquatic Animals Splash into Retailers on Oct. 17

 
Microsoft Game Studios today announced that the "Zoo Tycoon 2: Marine
Mania"* expansion pack has gone gold. Making waves on store shelves Oct.
17, this newest addition to the award-winning "Zoo Tycoon 2" franchise
lets gamers of all ages turn their dream zoo into an aquatic adventure.

From Blue Fang Games, LLC, this new, E10+ rated expansion pack
introduces 20 new marine animals into the "Zoo Tycoon 2" experience,
including green sea turtles, black tip reef sharks and West Indian
manatees, for $29.99. Watch an orca breach the surface of its tank,
while dolphins teach each other new tricks. In addition to building new
captivating tanks, gamers can also customize their own aquatic shows,
teaching animals to entertain zoo guests and increase their zoo ratings.

New scenarios and challenges allow players of all ages and skill levels
to test their aquatic expertise, such as rescuing marine animals,
restoring their health and releasing them back into the wild. Children

I`ve known of the date for October 17 for a long  time its just the gnomes and wardens keept us quit about Mm2 and I  have to srata saving up and AGE 3 The Warchiefs comes out the same day and am so exited about this I can`t wait fo it MM2 am about to burst

I'm pretty sure that the Jellyfish is food for the Leatherback Seaturtle. Isn't it?

Yes, but in one of the pictures of the killer whales on the offical website there was a very large jellyfish that looked more like an animal.  Now that I think about it, it's probably a portugese man-of-war.

zookeeperrob, the great white shark was confirmed as a White Shark on the MM2 demo page.

ironchef, that looked more like a lion's mane to me, and I think that was an ambient but who knows.

They do have a lot of animals confirmed: 7 Cetaceans, 6 fish, 3 pinnipeds, 2 reptiles, 1 siren, and 1 bird- that's 19!!! I wonder what the last animal will be, hopefully an octopus.

very cool.  a lot more interactive then ZT2, and listen to the person on the show platform. she talks in english, not gibberish!  and fish will automaticly be put in tanks!  must get this.

The jelly fish is not an animal, I'm sure abt it 100%(ambient maybe) And there's no Octopus also! But there is an Octopus, like not an animal, but you know that Insect House and that Reptile thing, like that one Octopus and a Seahorse thing will be there. (saw this in the Credits thing as an art in the demo!)
