The Koi will be great!
The ambients like the lionfish etc. just appear in the tanks as far as i know.

My thoughts!

Negative:
1. During beta, the skins needed much more detail. They were too flat. This appears to be fixed now ^__^
2. They needed to add ambients to old water in biomes so it wasn't so out of place to see them in the new ones. =)
3. They needed to fix the persistant bugs, and make waterfalls much more natural.
4. A lot of the tutorials were either a bit annoying or too vague.
5. Shows are pretty hard to figure out at first.
6. I felt they way underdid the reef environment :( Too few animals there.

Positive (the happy stuff =P)
1. MARINE ANIMALS. Win! :D
2. The koi was an AWESOME idea. I also suggested that they add more creatures like this so we could create tidepools.
3. I love the training!
4. The new biomes are gorgeous!
5. They've reskinned other things as well, beautifully!
6. The game is a blast to play, even with bugs ^__^

Overall, I loved the game, and am definately buying it! :D It was awesome to be able to give such direct feedback. The response team was awesome about responding, too! Haha, which I suppose should be expected, but you'd be surprised.

And please, nobody take my "negative" points as me being "ungrateful"; part of a beta tester's job is to say what needs fixing. :)

By the way, ambients just appear in the new biome waters after a while. You don't have to do anything. ^^

I loved making natural exhibits. Combining reef and rainforest is spectacular!

Whoops, removing question. Just found the answer ^^

If this is the offical box, I wonder if those tanks will be in the game.  They all have different color rims.  The demo only has blue and yellow for show tanks.

I can't seem to figure out how to make tanks with land in them.
(Like the one they have across from the show tank)
=/

Other then that, I love it.
The ambients are so neat!

i think you just make a normal exhibit with deep water and then make a ditch or valley in the water.

Make the tank first. connect the fence to the tank, then hold down shift and drag down the wall that separates the two. Only that wall should fall. Does that make sense or...?

I'm so excited for this expansion. Not much longer to wait now.

I wanted to get some more information so I searched on Wikipedia..I don't know if it says anything else new that we don't already know or if anyone else has been there yet but you can check it out anyway. Its still pretty cool. It tells which animals can perform in shows (which was i think already known) and since I never played the demo or the beta I never knew you could ACTUALLY ride on the animals back! Thats so cool!:woot:

[modnotice=csleesburg]Sorry, but we don't allow Wikipedia info because it's not reliable.[/modnotice]

Only having had Marine Mania for one week, I am quite impressed with some of the new features.
-I love the eyedropper for placing objects. I have played other PC games that have had this feature and it is really helpful.
-The new wall features were really amazing, and very useful
-For the most part all the animals are well done and realistic looking. But a few, Sea Lions, Walrus, Otters; well, they are ok in water, but on land, they looked really odd.
The plants that were added are superior. But some of the Biomes appear lifeless and lackluster, (Benthic), while others, (Reef), are vivid and thriving.
-After working the first set of Challenges to unlock a Whale Hall, I found I was quite disappointed. I read the next unlock for a Show Platform, and decided it was not worth the work. Every other expansion has had themed objects; benches, lamps, trashcans, etc,....and I feel that they should have added a nice group of Marine objects as well.
-During gameplay, the sound is amazing, especially when underwater. The clicking of the whales, chirps of the dolphin, and the bubbling of the water, is very realistic. It made me want to grab my snorkeling gear, and head to the Bahamas.

All in all, on a scale 1 to 10, I would give it a 9 1/2 !!!!
