I got the ok for this and I thought it may be fun for those who didn't do the BETA to see what got changed from it to the demo and the full version once it is out. It's fun to see what they listened to and what "mistakes" they made with the beta :P. If you have questions I'm sure those who did the beta would be willing to answer them.

OK cool :original:
Was the rockhopper penguin changed? in the fact that on one of the screens from before the BETA it is in the tundra exhibit (you had the pic on your avatar penguinman) now in the demo it is coastal? plus that might explain why RND found that the egss biom says tundra in the demo.

I can't think of any more at the moment.

Orcas doing a salmon impression. I saw those things going straight up waterfalls (they couldn't go down though.)

Are tundra animals still able to drink the tundra water? Now we know that it's salty!

Thats a hard one....
For me,
People getting different goals, (and some not getting unlockable blue whale hall as a result), in the Arlug campain was the weirdest.
Keepers/cleaners not doing thier jobs at all was the most frustrating.
Ambient fish, (think thats what they are), swimming upsidedown was the funniest.

If I am not supposed to say that please let me know mods...:blushing:

Well so far i noticed a lot of changes from the Beta:

1- Zookeepers are much better, (they still sit a lot)
2- Animals not being beached all the time
3- The touch pool is incredible better and guest do interact with it
4 - The tutorial for trainning now is easy (remember the trouble we had trainning Beaky ?)
5 - The filters are working properly and are a bit different (for better),

I can´t wait to buy the exp.

BTW: I could´not raise the starting money in campaign, hope that this is only in the demo

No, all the tundra water is salty. Animals in the Tundra eat/drink snow for water (as per March Of the Penguins) or drink water out of melted snow pools.

Can you tell if any of the animals frames or skins in the demo have been changed since the beta? And if so which ones?

Dolphin and shark skins definately are more detailed since beta. :) Manta ray skins also look like they may have gotten more details.

Can you tell me what you think of the goblin shark? because I'm pretty sure that that is gonna be my favorite animal, and I want to know more about it.

I noticed that the Orca skin and model seems to be alot more detailed than those very first screenshots we saw in... June. :elvis:

It's fascinating! They live in the benthic zone and seem pretty funky in your zoo! I put mine in tanks (because it seems odd to have them in a natural style exhibit due to where they live o.O)

(In response to the query on Goblin Sharks ^^)

The turtles skins -are- also improved, I hadn't realized that yet! Hooray!

Nope, that is how it will be in the XP.  It was a "glitch" that M$/BF corrected. We tried to get them to leave it alone but no go.

One of the bigger problems is that marine animals weren't deemed to be entertaining in the beta, which caused huge problems during campaign mode.

One thing i have noticed from the beta that seems to have changed (as well as the training and the filters and the workers LOL) is that animals dont get beached as much but until the full game is released we wont know for sure about the manta rays - boy did i hate them in the Beta.  Also ive noticed that the Entertaining Animals and Educational Exhibits bars do not go down constantly as they did in the beta - making it impossible to get a 5 star Zoo.

Does anyone know if they put back the 'money cheat'? It was highly requested during the Beta testing.
