Updates for Dino Danger?

I installed MM2 on my little brother's laptop and it runs great with all the glitches gone! But under the downloads section there is something called "Updates for Dino Danger" does anyone know what this is? Thanks in advance.

im not sure, but i do remember dd making the viewing canopies 2x2 squares, which was frustrating, and now theyre 1x2.:happy:

Hi! I have a theory. The Dinosoau Dangers did not work with the Marinemania Beta unless you created a work around. I think the update is just a patch to fix this problem.

I had to scroll down on the Downloads page to find the updates.  No clue what it is but as I have not downloaded anything since installing DD I think it came with the DD download and went unnoticed until now.

It didnt come with the DD downlaod - i have DD but not MM2 (yet) and i dont have it

I have MM2, but not DD, and I'm wondering if the DD update can cause problems with the game, if you don't have DD installed!?! :unsure:   Is it safe to delete it from the Downloads folder (C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Microsoft Games\Zoo Tycoon 2\downloads\zootycoon_com_zt2_1033)??

This is weird, you can't disable the update even if you disable DD in the ingame menu, I think it was installed with MM. The file don't contain much just something retaling to the behaviour of 2 of the dinos and some updates to the dino fence...

If you don't have DD or if you plan to disable it while building a dino-free zoo then you can always move the update to a holding folder somewhere and then move it back if you feel like it later.

Hey all,

Yep, you are correct - it's an update to Dino that contains some bug fixes.  While we don't have too much time for fixing other expansions most of the time, we'll sneak some in when we can.  It won't matter if you don't have Dino installed - the game just ignores it.  If you do get Dino, you get some updates.  :)
