Is it possible to place hippos in tanks? Im just curious and plan on making a hippo tank when i get the game

not in a tank because hippos need land and they're probably heavy enough that they floating land would sink lol. But, they can go underwater and you can have a hybrid exhibit with tank walls and land with a hippo :original:

I think not being able to put hippos in tanks is unrealistic, them rock islands can be very sturdy.

But where would you put the food? Hippos are grazers. They come out at night to graze, so it would be unrealistic if you could.

yes, hippos are grazers, so having them be tank exclusive is very unrealistic. plus the only food types that can be put under water are shellfish, fish, seaweed, zooplankton, jellyfish, and chum, which is pretty much meat. so tank hippos just arent possible. but it would be cool.

hybrid exhibits with hippos are great though, i always combine them with crocs. which i wish could submerge:pinch:

You can put seaweed in I suppose, they sometimes graze on the riverbed. :original:

Ya, but seaweed is a saltwater plant and hippos live in freshwater :original:
