i really want to start recoulering animals

hi i just wanted 2 know how do you recouler animals and objacts and stuff like that it sounds like lots of fun

unfortunately it is not as fun as you may think. It takes a lot of hard work and patience to do so you will have to take a lot of time.

A few places you can start are the OCT guide located at the ZT2DC and the APE II download located here. They can get you started :)

hehe Ive got all those tutorial but my problem isn't the files and coding part (well it is I haven't tried very much) but more the recolouring! :laughing: I just can't do it! You can sort of see that by my purple hippo....

Well, I guess this is sort of the right place to put this, but how do you add your variant files to the entities folder with winzip?

well, for this i use winrar (ifind it easier) fir winzip though you to the folder your skins are and then go back to the entities folder they come from, right click on it and click on winzip->add to zip file and then just click add. for winrar you do the same, but instead of clicking winzip add to zip file you click on winrar add to archive, change it from rar to zip format and then click ok. phew, hope that can settle things out for you!
EDIT: after you have created the file (with all the skins in) you must rename the file from say, 'elephant_varinat.zip' to 'elephant_varinat.z2f
