Sorry, but no. You can keep them until they're adults, then sell the parents; in ZT1 babies don't need extra space except for toys and shelters.

You can keep all males or all females, and never have that problem. Though not as much fun. Or you can build more or larger exhibits. There's a hack for making MORE babies - but I've never seen one for making less!

sell the adults, beacuse babies don't need their parents like in ZT2 and also the adults are more likely to die of old age.
