I am wondering is there such a thing as a merman or a male mermaid?

Via the normal way (dropping a Mermaid statue into a tank), I'm afraid there isn't.

Via using the Freeform Unlock, you can adopt a male mermaid like any other animal, but that's pretty much all it is...a male mermaid. Not a merman, just a male mermaid.

Yea, y'just get a mermaid that's nominally male, and y'can get baby mermaids that way. But male, female, and baby, they all look female, as you're not supposed t'get them in th'first place. :pirate2:

I think a merman that was adoptable was made on another site, but I can't remember where I saw it.

That was at DJ Design which no longer exists. You could try Jane and see if she has it, as she has permission to upload that sites stuff somewhere. I believe she has put some at Tek but not all yet.
