Wanted to post and let you know, I'll be taking back over the Community Liason position from Steve. He's moved out of QA and into the Production department (woot, Steve!), and the thing he's working on won't leave him much time to do this.
Right now, I'm producing the next expansion for Zoo Tycoon 2, so my boss figured that I'd be a good person to talk to you all. I'm looking forward to working with you all, and I think you'll be pretty pleased with what we have in the future for Zoo 2. I know I'm really psched. :)

Hi Scott
I sent Steve a mail about my problem with Dino and since I do not know if he has got it I will put in a copy of it here to you and see if you have heard about it and maybe you know how to fix this.
I installed Dino and when I played I started to notice that guest said they could not see any animal although the animals was right infront of them just with a watercanal between them. I notice they could only see animals with the binoculars. When I deleted the water they could see the animals again. If the animals was an animal which use water like penquin or hippo it was alright to put water between pathway and exhibit but other animals - guest could not see them. I then uninstalled dino and put water between pathway and exhibit and the guest could see the animals without binoculars. I do not want to have *a million* binoculars on the pathway, that would not look real so I have not installed Dino again and that is a bit sad for me because I did enjoy dinos too. Is this a problem only I have and if not could you please please fix this.

I'm currently away from home for work and just spotted this this morning. Welcome back Scott, look forward to nworking with you again.
Please tell Steve congrats from me and he will be missed but we are just as glad to have you back with us as well.
Another new expansion ??? Hope we can get a heads up on the all the other sites with this one. The hush hush around MM 2 has had us going crazy trying to keep the members from giving away goodies so hopefully you can give us a little advance heads up with this one so we can keep them pacified....lol

BFScott....my, my, it has been a long time buddy!!! How nice that you're going to be our official BF spokesperson again. Just for the record-Steve did a wonderful job assisting us and interacting with our members in some very ingenious ways. I know that he will be missed (especially his sense of humor and drama :woot: ) but we are all very happy about his new position with BF and wish him much new success in it.
As you can already see, our members are sponges when it comes to news about new ZT things!! They will stampede to your door for anything you would care to disclose, so I hope that you have your insurance premiums paid up! :laughing: It's so wonderful that you're going to be here, and we're definately looking forward to working with you in the future. :welcomean back and I hope you will enjoy visiting us often :wub:

So far animals are Smilodon, wooly rhinoceros (coelodonta), and there is an entertainer staff member.

Where did we hear that the expected release date is in April? I thought the only date we have found is the for the prima guide for Extinct animals, which was for October.

Yeah, you need to keep care of your articles, otherwise trolls edit false info in. It tells the truth most of the time, and it's reliable, but you need to keep care of the pages. For example, see this article (WARNING, HAS SPOILERS OF SEVERAL GAMES) (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Super_transformation). (Highlight to read for the same reasons)As you can see, Silver the Hedgehog gets a form very similar to Super Sonic and Super Shadow, and he gets it in the same way. But it's not mentioned at all the words "Super Silver", despite what common sense might tell and the filename actually being named "SuperSilver.sth". That's because SEGA has not given it an official name. Also, please look at all those citation sources. Information with no proof is just deleted. In resume, Wikipedia is a very useful site, and instead of just talking bad of it, why not correct it. Or ask for the ZT articles to be peer reviewed. That way no trolls will be able to mess up.

Nope, I saw it 50 times, and it shows a Smilodon, then a Wooly Rhino and either a Mammoth fountain or skeleton in the last second or so.
I know it's hard to tell, but if you keep watching for a while you'll agree it's a Smilodon. At first, I thought it was a Thylacine, which looked a lot like a wolf.
Back on topic...

It's the last expansion because once (can't remeber when) either Scott or Steve said 'Don't worry - there is a fututre for Zoo 2!' and on the Wikipedia George Valavnis page (Valavanis is sound designer at Blue Fang) had a list of all the games he did. Here's the list:

Yes Steve did say that. I believe he meant that there was more after the Marine Mania expansion. That doesn't mean necessarily mean that Extinct is the last expansion. Scott PLEASE put us out of our misery of rumors and let us know if ZT2 will be Extinct after this XP!

I wonder if something happened to Scotty. It has been what five months since we heard from him. It would be nice to here something, whatever it may be. Kinda makes me wonder if we're no longer important.
