I actually got really excited when I saw the updates. I like the Blacktip Reef Shark and California Sea Lion! The Blue Marlin and Sea Otter are cool too!

Edit: The Goblin Shark isn't as creepy as I thought. It's actually kinda cute!

the site update suprised me,
i only expected them to have about 8 animals in page for mm

i really like the addax, it makes an awesome mix with dromedaries and s.horned oryxs

I downloaded the addax today and have just had a little play with it. Its lovely! Its a fanatastic addition to the desert exhibits. Just what I needed to keep me occupied til MM2....:whistling

And if you guys are good, I might just update my Show and Tell thread with some addax pics.....:

Why do they not need water? I think BF should have made them need very little water and only drink once in a while. No mammal can live without water. Other than that this is a great animal. I can't wait for any future bonuses :

The addax is a really cool addition. It is awesome how they don't need water in an exhibit. They do need water, they just get it from moist food.

They get all of their water from food, so no, they don't need a seperate water dish

Certain animals can live their entire lives without a single sip of water; desert animals especially are known for this ability, so BF making it so that they don't require water is actualyl very realistic.

I just downloaded it; can't wait to see it in game!!

Yesterday it took me an hour to download it ( lousy dial-up! :

: ) But, it was well worth it. With the es xp I made a wildlife reserve on the desert oasis map. I would hug the Addax, and if it was scared, it would probably kick me :laughing: :

I haven't downloaded the addax yet, 'cause my computer's in the shop, getting fixed. Now, I'm using my mom's computer. The addax looks awesome, it has alot of muscle on it, and it's hooves are very detailed, as they spread apart, like a desert-dwelling ungulate would in real life.

Is it jsut me or did they include a map with the addax? I jsut noticed when I started playing that there was a new map called "Desert Shore" . It's in the Middle-East so it makes sense that it would come with the addax. Is it a new map or am I just being stupid?

Its been there since ZT2 was released - if you look in the original disc files and unzip maps you will see it.

the Addax is only for english versions of ZT2 at the moment unfortunately.

Not stupid at all. Desert Shore is not new. RND said it was in the original files.
