Just A Quick Guestion

I got Zoo Tycoon 1 as a Christmas present, I have installed and uninstalled it many times and tried to find out if there is any programmes I should download, but it just won't work.  :(

I can install it easily, but when I choose "play" and the Zoo Tycoon window opens, the whole computer gets stuck and I have to shut the computer down to get out of that window. Is the problem in the game CD or is there something I just don't realize to do? Should I go to complain to the store or is there something wrong with the game itself?

Sounds like a problem with the game!
Have you kept up with all the recent updates with your computer?

After you install the game, instead of starting the game, try restarting your pc first. This may help.

I agree with Zoohio. I don't think it's your computer.

Is it possible that the CD is scratched slightly?

i also agree on installing the game and get the updates for it from microsofts zootycoon site  there are updates for zt 1  that are needed to make it work.
