Yeh, that is true. Think of the mixed exhibits! When I heard the orca was in tundra I instantly thought of a half land half water exhibit with polar bears lol.
Maybe you cat swim with animals that regularly go on land, because the transition would be kind of weird.
No-one would randomly grab ahold of a White Shark, or any shark for that matter, and try to go for a swim.
no whale sharks are filter feeders, and i also think that their throat is only the size of a dime like modern whales
