Icons Only On Downloaded Animals (mac Os X)

after ive downloaded animals and put them in the correct folder, some of the animals only have the icons. They dont have any information on them. Do the files that ive put in the download folder have to be side by side? (I have an iBook G4 on operating system 10.4.4)
