I remember clearly in the demo, I made a tundra 'Antarctica' with rockhopper penguins and orcas, the orcas living of the penguins. There were also arctic cod in the water for them to eat. But one time an orca killed a penguin.
But not in the game, the orcas don't hunt penguins, emperor or rockhoppers. Was this removed or something?

hmm, ive never noticed. i dont really care, it helps make good mixed exhibits so far as im concerned. one less mix exhibit i have to watch over. i'll have to check.

that's strange. However, walruses and sea lions love to hunt animals.

Weird. The orcas hunt the penguins in my game! They even hunt the walruses and polar bears!

i havent had walruses hunt any animals. but then again, it might just be becasue i never mix them with anything.
but yeah i've had sea lions kill penguins and sea otters : :( :

my dolphins were stalking my sea turtles, and my orcas would stalk penguins but would starve and never eat them

Water animals won't eat the land prey they caught when the prey turns into an original carcass because the carcass is on land. They only eat them if they die in the water and turn into a marine carcass.:thumbsup:

You get the Bluefin Tuna by beating all the campaigns. Or by Downloading the unlock hack.

they'll eat the tuna and cod, but won't hunt anything else. Which kinda stinks because I was simulating Antarctica. I put fish (not live prey, the kind that you put on land) for penguins on land, and I was planning on orcas eating penguins but they aren't... its weird.

My seals will eat penguins all the time...its kinda sad lol
And my orcas will eat just about anything :pout:

yes my sea lions actually ate my penguins =[ but i havnt seen orcas hunt an animal yet

no only the sea lions have hunted so far...

My orcas have eaten penguins and seals and dolphins. Maybe more, I can't remember.

None of my animals have hunted anything! My great white shark didn't eat Killer, my koala, only circled him.

I remember once an Orca stalked a Beluga calf, but didn't attack. A Great white attacked one of my Sea Lions, but didn't kill it.

I always run Dolphin/Orca/FKW, and I have never had any death there. Even with babies.
Heh, even when I run shark mixed exibits, there is no problem.

Orcas can hunt whales down. A white shark is smaller that an orca. If an orca is hungry, a shark is a good prey. They do that in real life, it's good they doing so in the game.

But they DO hunt, that's why the dummy seal for them as an enrichment object.

orcas stalk dolphins and dolphins stalk turtles
not at the same time
i think its simmilar to play chasing but between two different animals or something like that
i think the animal doing the stalking gets inrichment out of it...well my dolphins do anyways sometimes
i have also had a Marlin stalk a whale shark
shoot......just forgot the main thing i wanted to add
