Animals can't find food.

I keep having this problem where it says my animals can't find any food, and they go hungry, but there is food in their exhibit, and I have plenty of zookeepers, one assigned to each exhibit.

I thought maybe downloading the patch would help, but I don't understand how to install it, it just has a couple files in it, and no installer. Will it even help?

sometimes, the animals simply can't reach the food.  is it blocked by plants or enrichment items? if so, that may be the problem.

no, its in a pretty open space. And it doesn't seem to matter if there is lots of food either. I tried the patch too, and I don't know if it worked because the game keeps crashing now. I'll have to reinstall it, which isn't a big deal, but it means the patch isn't going to solve the problem.

It would be helpful to know which ZT 1 game you have: the original, ZT with Dino Digs, ZT w/DD and Marine Mania, or ZT:CC. The patch is only needed if you don't have anyof the expansion packs as it was built in to Dino Digs when it was released.

Are you talking about ZT1 or 2, I haven't played Zoo 1 in a while, so I'm not sure if I can help, But if it's for Zoo 2 I might be able to.
