Animals dying of sickness

My sister told me she had a hippo die from being sick for too long. Was I wrong to call her a liar? :wicked: I've never had an animal die from anything but old age and being eaten by something else. But what made me very sure she was lying was that I had a polar bear be taken away due to poor treatment because it was sick, and the zookeepers kept ignoring it.

Animals can die from sickness. I've never had an animal taken away from me because it was mistreated, but I have had animals die of illness before.

I've had many animals die from illness. And animmals were taken away in ZT1.

I thought in ZT1 you just couldn't adopt anymore until the living conditions were improved? :blink: I haven't played it in a while, though.

It seems I owe my sister an apology! I've been playing ZT1 since it came out, and I've never had an animal die from illness. Looks like I'll have to do a little test...

as far as i know, i'm pretty sure that an animal can die of sickness in both games.  usually it's only caused by too much poop in an exhibit.

I have had animals die of sickness in ZT2, they can get sick from lack of food and water or from a dirty exhibit. I have haven't heard of an animal getting taken away though, unless it was in a challenge where it says if it is mistreated etc. they will remove it.
