I'd really like to download a gharial, please notify me when the Zoo Tycoon 2 downloads are available again, does anyone know when this will be?

Hi there, and :welcome: to Zoo Admin. :) This thread was moved to Download Support - you may want to take some time to familiarise yourself with our forum layout and make sure you've chosen the best place to post before starting a new topic - that way you'll get more helpful replies! :)
You may not have noticed, but we have just moved the forums, so as a consequence the downloads database is down. I can assure you that restoring all the features is happening as fast as possible, so you'll just have to be patient I'm afraid!
However, if you take a visit to the Zoo Tycoon Community Downloads Directory (http://www.zooadmin.org/forum/index.php), you can request specific Zoo Admin downloads in this request thread (http://www.zooadmin.org/forum/index.php?topic=3230.0) and someone will try and get back to you ASAP.

that DOES mean that the downloads will be back up, right? i sure hope so!

It means they will be up in time, which could mean a few days to a few weeks. Let's not harrass those admins who are working very hard to bring the entire forums to working order. :)

I have personally answered this question in several places already. We have recently moved forums, and as a consquence not all the features are available yet. We are working very hard to bring everything back to working order. Please be patient with us! :)
If you're desperate for a particular download, you can request it at the Zoo Tycoon Community Downloads Directory (http://www.zooadmin.org/forum/index.php?topic=3230.0). It has already been posted elsewhere by Yellowrose that the downloads are expected to return by Monday February 12th (http://www.zooadmin.net/Smf/index.php?topic=7829.msg182289#msg182289).

I'm sorry but we really have made this very clear in many aspects of the site. They are down until further notice; we just moved sites and that is on the way. Please be patient and use the search button next time; it almost never fails to pull up an answer for you!

Merged merged lots of topics and moved to Frequently Asked Questions, and changed the title.
Please, please, please use the Search (http://www.zooadmin.net/Smf/index.php?action=search) feature, as Mikaboshi has said, we have answered this in many threads already - we know you're anxious to have them again! (And so are we! ;))
Downloads will be up when they are ready, no sooner. We do have like 3,000 of them! :)

All of the same downloads will be back - we are not planning to get rid of any.

Does anyone have a more updated estimate for when the downloads will return? I know your trying your best, but I would just like to know around when. ;)

At this time, we do not have an exact time for you - but I assure you, we are doing our best to have them up as soon as possible.

Additionally please remember that we have been having problems with the server and amount of traffic used so downloads will probably not return until after those issues have been resolved as well :)

The downloads are not yet available. We just had to complete another move to a new server and hope to begin reinstalling the downloads to the database on the weekend. Sorry for the long delay but we want to be sure this move is the right one and we are not going to experience any other problems with the server before we begin to reinstall the downloads.
Once we have some of the files installed we will make the ones installed available and ask your patience while we complete the others. Once we begin the installation proceedure I will update this topic to let you all know about the new availablity.
