i need help!!!!!!!

I have a question.
how do i download things and put them in my game?
where do i go?
what do i need to have?
what do i need to do?
do i extract the files or just leave them?

(and in microsoft games it says zoo tycoon 2 endangered spicies it doesnt say zoo tycoon 2 or zoo tycoon 2 african adventure)
