Where do you put hacks like the freefrom unlock in ES? Please respond.

Depends on what you mean by Freeform unlock. Do you mean RNDs scenario unlock? If that's the case, they go into:
C:\Documents and Settings\YOUR NAME\Application Data\Microsoft Games\Zoo Tycoon 2\Default Profile\Saved

well if you follow the instructions it say
C:\Documents and Settings\YOUR NAME\Application Data\Microsoft Games\Zoo Tycoon 2\Default Profile\

which it says quite clearely in the download page so question answered topic closed.
