What is the best resolution to play Zoo Tycoon 2 on portable PC to have subjects with good sizes and not too packed?

Well, I understood it, and if you're FORCED to use a portable/laptop, I would suggest the highest dpi you can manage, because the more dpi, the larger the image AND the least loss of resolution.

OK if I understand it is better to play in 1280*800*32 than in 1280*760*32? is it OK?

Note the changes made before you make them, always. This way you can always change them to one that works.
A good rule to remember, that while it is possible to change settings, the defaults that are preset when installing the software may actually be the best for your pc and hardware.

Well, I don't mean to disagree, zoohio, but when I first installed mine, it wanted to install it at 600/24, and I always use (and changed it to) 1024/32. I've had no trouble with it, either, and the graphics are much better. I only use 800 when I have to play it windowed.

csleesburg, you are certainly correct, I am just making all are aware that they should prepare to reset to the defaults if there is an issue.
I changed my settings and lost blocks of graphics on my screen. Each pc is different and mine is certainly a dinosaur by pc standards.
