Upgrade Recommendations?

I thought my laptop was decent, but I guess I was wrong, b/c I can only play at the high graphic level for maybe 2 minutes b/f it slows to a halt!!!! :(  My computer specs are:
Dell Inspiron 600M, Intel Pentium M 1.80GHz, 1GB RAM, ATI Mobility Radeon 9000 (graphics card)...

I know almost nothing about computer technology....Please Help!!  When I was playing Sims 2 on my last laptop, a post on a forum I had joined listed things to turn off under task manager, but I lost my printed copy.  Are there such recommendations for ZT2??  Please recommend upgrades available in the US if possible.  Thanks guys!!! :happy

Someone please help!!!!  29 people have viewed this, but no replies. :sad
I sometimes get this message when I start my game that a 733MHz processor is required, but only 600MHz is detected!  I think one time it detected even less than that! :?  I just got this crazy laptop in June!  I wish I could just send it back! :angry
