I Need Help With Patches

just to start off i'm sorry if someone has already posted this question ^-^; but i have no clue how or where to put patches. if there is anybody who can help me i'd be very greatful

Put them on the desktop as a winzip file, then open it with winzip. Click on .patch.exe and it will run the installation pregram ;)

:crazy that didn't work. hmmm..... does anybody here have winrar? i've been using it and i like it but it doesn't seem to let me use some patches and animals like .zip files
