It's a feature of ES, to prevent the elevated paths from obscuring your view too much.

I invented a new kind of wall. First make an elevated path as low as possible. Than put a second floor two space higher above it. Then make a third floor two spaces higher than the last. Last you must make the walls high to make the wall. Then simply cover the top with more elevated path.

Looks cool! It reminds me of a soccer stadium from the inside.

@penguino, yes, I finally figured out how to make elevated path look 'almost invisible'.

Cool - with a little adjustment you could make it like a stadium - adjust the walls on one side...
I was thinking for MM2 with show stands on every level

Wow im glad you all like the idea, and feel free to copy me. There could also be good in small zoo so you could have a food court over an exhibit. When AA comes out im going to make a massive house with crocodiles the tortoises nile monter kermodo dragon, live lizards and the keiosks. This will be good when MM comes out so we can build the standard indoor sealife center type aquearium.

Now I must have both AA and ES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Another Idea - Maybe we could use this idea for Nocturnal Houses! Aardvark, Caracal, Black Panther, DL Leopards, they'd all do well in one.

Okay, crazy idea - Elephant Houses!

You could even use this as a shelter. Like make a big exhibit, and then in one corner make this but small. That way they could have food and water and grass in their shelter too.

Ive tryed to use this for indoor shelter but the dome shape created problems, panda11 has solved them. though i did build a rhino house before with jarvans on one side and blacks on the other.

It would be cool if someone could make a high wall (That reaches as high as the lowest elevated path height). Then you could make it look like a flat walled building, instead of one with sloped sides.

As a possible step six, put foliage around the four corners, totally blocking it fom the outside.

So now we have:
Nile Crocodile
Komodo Dragon
Galapagos Giant Tortoise
African Spurred Tortoise
Nile Monitor
Live Prey Lizards (small exhibit  )
Reptile Hpuse "Stand"

This is turning into a very respectable Reptile House!

Someone need to make higher fences but I heard there are some problems with doing that though.
