you could use "small" animals too, like the fennc fox, ring tail lemur, red panda, pea foul, chimp, penguain, flamingo, kolaos, gibbons, meerkat, ardvark.  in fact, you could make indoor exibuts with praticlly any animal, expect unglantes, cammels, rhinos, etc.  but elephants, cats, bears, primates, and birds could be in indoor exibuts.  (hoofed animals in indoors doesn't seem right, or wolfs)  what about indoor/outdoor exibuts?: :) : : :) :

Wow, very creative idea! Have to give this a try! This would be awesome to use with MM2, so we can make massive show stadiums and indoor aquariums!

I found a new way to make reptile houes make a huge dicth about cover ing the zoo if you want put elvated paths all over it and delte the poles make a way in and put some exibits and heres a hint if you put the elevated paths to the limit on the top you can put trees in thier

Looks cool! It reminds me of a soccer stadium from the inside.

@penguino, yes, I finally figured out how to make elevated path look 'almost invisible'.

How do you do it?

Great ideas evryone!!  :sign_wow:
Has anyone noticed if having a "roof" over an exhibit improves the animals' privacy levels? :sign_ques

Great idea, although very expensive in-game. As for freeform this is wonderfull, but I doubt I'll make houses in challenge games.

BTW - Someone SHOULD notify Blue Fang about this, if we made a reptile house with just the elevated path and our imagination, I'm sure Blue Fang could make a special animal house building tool and add it to one of their future expansions.
I don't know about you, but an expansion with a special animal house building tool sounds wonderfull for me and I'd definitally buy an XP like that!: :) :

When the next expansion comes out, i'm goin to go crazy with this. Five reptiles, all under one roof(path).

 Man that's awesome! I've got to try that sometime! Thanks, Megaraptor!

I love the idea looks awesome this is a little off subject but how do you take zoomed out picture like that?

"Wow im glad you all like the idea, and feel free to copy me. There could also be good in small zoo so you could have a food court over an exhibit. This will be good when MM comes out so we can build the standard indoor sealife center type aquearium."

Ha that was my first idea when i saw the finished pictures.

Hi, just wanted to let you know that the links don't work,: :( :  you would have to post your pictures on a site like photobucket.com, (it's free).  It looks like you linked us to your computer and that won't work.  I do hope you try again as I really want to see them!: :) :

I was thinking sumthing like what Kiger said, maybe if we made these houses but having the elevated pathway that we're using as the roof just on top of the tank so that the tank looks like it's completely indoor! That'd be awesome- we'd be able to make actual aquariums, just like Kiger said earlier.
My hope is that sum designer will take the shark we get in MM2 and make lots of more sharks. Than I'm going to make a Shark House like the one in Sea World or Singapore I can't remember which but still cool idea I think!!

I also like the idea of using these to boost an animals privacy. I'm thinking sumthing like a small shelter house attatched to a hippo exhibit, with water in it and sum food too, so it has that realistic shelter feel and not like a hippo going in a stable and resting on hay.

When I get ES, AA and MM2 I'm goign to try out Reptile Houses, Arctic Houses, Frog Houses, Nocturnal Houses and Aquariums!

I like it. It looks like a rescue center. Imagine if they had weather in the game! Your reptiles would be safe from the elements

We might actually be able to make indoor tanks when MM2 comes out cuz if we can change the height of the tank like the first one then we can raise it all the way to the path

beagle boys idea of a part indoor part outdoor exhibit sounds really cool.

the animals could go inside and there could be different viewing spots.

what i did was sort of make an elevated tunnel, with the "roof" extending ofer the exhibits it passed, and connect a "wall" to the "roof" at the end of the exhibit.
