I like to put as many savannah and scrub animals together as I possibly can in one huge exhibit.

wouldn't the snow leopards try to kill the markhors? Snow leopards go well w/ ethiopian wolves, though.: :) : : :) : : :) :

no animals only kill others if there hungry or need space

nice idea, though quite space-consuming.

mandrills only kill when they're running out of space. And they seem to pick on lemurs.

^^like..changing the animals to 'be like' another animal??

maybe changing biomes, food, etc.

seems like alot of work, just for a bit of messing around..but it would be pretty funny i guess...a thomsons gazelle [or a lemur, panda, peafowl or beaver] taking down a giraffe  (not an elephant though, nothing gets 'em)

ya, it does sound funny, though nothing can take down a giraffe.

I use mixed exhibits in all biomes, but the one I love most is the desert mix of dromedaries and fennecs. That one is always a feature in my zoos.: :) :

I mainly stick to animals in the same location

Hippo_Greater Flamingo_And sometimes African buffalo
I usually combine savannnah but i'll also make a large savannah exibit and divide it up so it looks seperate. I'm a neat freak. I can't stand seeing to many animals together.
I'll combine Musk Oxen and Caribou even though they never meet.

In regular zoos, I often make (like just about every one else) a large savannah exhibit with all the non-attacking animals, then individual exhibits (with maybe one or two other combined ones) for the rest of the zoo. But I am working on a zoo with one large exhibit for each of the biomes (larger if that biome has more animals, like savannah, and less if it has fewer, like scrub). I then make smaller exhibits for the preditors (as an example, for Savannah I would have all the peaceful animals together, then another exhibit attatched with the lions and such). It's much more interesting, and guests love it. My favorite is perhaps the rainforest, when I have okapi, gorillas, chimps, lemurs, and several more downloaded animals all together.

And, no, I have no expansions. My latest game installment was either AA/EA or Age of Empires 3, and I chose AOE3.

I normally do combined exhibits if I do primates.  If I can, I only have combined exhbits.  Normally, I do not use carnivores unless they have something to do with the theme of my zoo.

I mainly use user DLs in my mixed exhibits cause I dont have ES or AA yet so my favorite is-
Sumatran Rhino - Lowland Anoa - Saola - Asian Elephant - Peafowl
It's mainly rainforest with small patches of scrub and tempforest, lots of water with at least one waterfall, only Asian foliage.

And my other favorite is-
Black Rhino (KK's reskin) - Gemsbok  - Ostrich
(Scrub-savannah mized)

And my other favorite is-
Mainland Serow - Red Panda - Peafowl

See, the first one is a replica of the Indonesian islands (if you count the peafowl as a Javan, which I do when I make this exhibit), the second is the Karoo-Kalahari, and the third is the southern slopes of the Himalayas.

I would have to say that my favorite mixed exhibit is elephant/hippo/croc/flamingo. I use that one alot. I also use giraffe/masai giraffe/wildebeast/african buffulo alot. Flamingo/T. Gazelle/zebra/Black Rhino is another favorite of mine. I love the african animals. *worships her AA expansion* They all work so well togather that sometimes I even put carnivores in with the bigger animals, like the elephants, crocs, and hippos.

i always do a drive-in tundra. with caribou and musk ox. also, a scrub with gemsbok, white rhino and gerenuk.

also, a double-deive-in called "elephant encounter" (thats copyright, by the way) were guests meet first asian elephants than african.

I do the thompsons gazelles, zebras, wildebeests, and sable antelopes. It works quite well. So does ibex plus markhor. One that does not work well though, is snow leopard/ethiopian wolf plus ibex/markhor.
