There is a thread like this for ES, but not AA!  So, let's get started.  Who has any tips they'd like to share?

Don't put Meerkats and Aardvarks together the adults get together but the meerkats kill the baby aardvarks.

Ok, I know this has been said numerously, but don't put ratels with other animals, cuz they're too stinky. And don't put gerenuks, wildebeest, warthogs (I think), masai giraffes, or mandrills in water.

We aren't hiding the identity of the 20th animal anymore :original:

All animals should be given sufficient space to prevent aggression towards others

same w/ ethiopian wolves, ratels, & striped hyenas. Although those 3, I don't think, are as prone 2 killl.

@Sealio- I said they couldn't swim because they kept getting stuck in the waterfall, so I guess my tip is to not put wildebeests in waterfalls
@zoo_tycoon2- I think that caribou try to swim to the North Pole so they can see Santa!!!!!!!!

If you want to have a mixed exhibit with carnivores AND herbivores, just add a few live lizards every once in a while. The carnivores will ALWAYS prefer the easy lizard meal to chasing down one of your wildebeest, etc!

wildebeest don't breed too fast, but they do breed quickly. Warthogs breed excessively.

Yeah, Masai giraffes, ratels, and african buffalos are the fastest breeders and most prolific for me right now. I started with 4 ratels, a few hours later, Ratel 65 was giving birth to ratels 104 and 105! Needless to say, I had no problems getting the "Animals released to wild" bar up!

they may breed fast, but buffalo and giraffes have long gestation periods (along w/ bongos, barbary apes, and elephants) so that's kind of a downside. Although giraffes didn't breed that fast for me?????
