What do you do with them? More specificly, what do you do about the keepers?

they are natural areas that seem to make guest more happy than guest looking into a regular exibit. also zookeepers can take care of the animals in the exibit. in my personel thoughts i find these areas quite enjoyable when i need them

You can place the animals and the keepers inside them. When you put the keeper there, just assign it to the Conservation area, and he'll take care of the animal.

The only thing I do not like about the area is that you can only put food either loose or in DISHES in there, not troughs or substrate piles. Not even carcasses if you have a predator in there. They have to eat their meat out of a dish.

Yeah, I noticed that too. I just got an idea, put any animal in with the carnivores, let them kill it, and the zookeeper should refil the carcass like he would an artafitial one! I'll try that out...

1250 bucks for a caribou or something like that isnt that big of a deal, IMO.

Well the zookeepers will bring what the animals eat, so it doesn't matter. Like a hollow log for the frogs or fennecs.

I like to put beavers in the wetland ones. They will build their own shelter!

Does anyone else have the problem of guests wandering into conservation areas?  I can't figure out how they keep getting in there, but before I know it, there's some little goon tearing around my conservation area in their getting chased by the same animal they have a souveneir t-shirt of.

Nope xanadu, I  do have problems of guests falling off
a. cliffs and hills
b. elevated paths

Maybe, if it is one of the above, don't put it next time.

Not a true Conservation area, no, not without coding if someone has figured that out. You can of course, fence areas off and treat them as a conservation area (i.e. little interaction, natural hunter/prey feeding, etc).

i like conservation areas esp the crator conservation area, i like to pu in bison and beavers, and sometimes horses, its good becauyse the rocks stop then from straying out of there prefared bomie, but its annoying when bision get trapped on cliffs, you cant smoothen the cliff sides so you have to keep moving the manualy which is quite annoying, and i wish we could place anything in the conservation areas that is like 1/4 of a square.. but other than that i love 'em:happy:

I like conservation areas because you can build a zoo all around them and then put an endangered species inside it as the star attraction.

I put FPs (Florida Panthers) In the wetland ones. And, for the carcasses, to make it realistic, I put beavers in. That's also a realistic hunting scenario :card:
