Good Graphics Without Crashing The Slow Cpu

I don't know if this is really a strategy, but I figured that this combination of graphics works well for slower CPUs without crashing them:

These are off:
Specular Effects Detail
Font Texture Detail
Font Shadow

These are on Medium:
View Distance
Terrain Texture
Terrain Resolution
Lighting Detail
Shadow Detail
Water Detail (for faster computers, this can go to high)

These are on High:
Detail Objects
Object Detail ( :huh a little redundant if you ask me, but...)
Environment Detail
Animation Detail
Object Texture Detail

These are on Low:
Overhead Camera Distance


Oh, I forgot. This graphic change will make the Bengal tiger actually look good! :shocked Also all other animals will look better, and the "clean but dirty hide" glitch is erased.

I tried this, and it was still slow. Heck, I tried everything on low and it was still slow. I think I have a virus or something. :crazy

Naw, it ain't a virus. If you had one, it would crash your entire computer, not just slow down the game. If you ask me, try buying 512 MGs of DDR RAM. It'll cost you $40, but it's well worth it.

My ancient computer from 2000 is already at the maximum RAM limit: 512 MBs. I don't know what to do, I guess I'll just move on to other games until I get a better computer.

Hold on a second! I think if you take out your old RAM, you could put in the DDR RAM without a problem. It should fix your slowness problem.
