Tank walls for non-Marine animals
« on: November 17, 2006, 07:46:12 PM »
I have been experimenting with using Marine Mania tank walls for regular ZT2 animals. Here is a picture of a meerkat exhibit using a low glass wall. I think it looks pretty good and the meerkats do not even attempt to dig under it.

here I have built a glass box into the side wall of the lion exhibit. The glass box allows visitors to feel like they are stepping into the lion enclosure and getting a close look at the lions

Here is a picture of the entrance to my newly constructed Gorilla House. Although I prefer to have my gorillas living outdoors, I wanted to try and build an indoor gorilla exhibit.

Panda King, the zoo wall fence was a download that was originally made available by martin1990. I have searched all over but can not find where you can download it now.

Great idea, if I ever get MM2 this will be my big reason for getting it - animal houses. I could finally put crocs in a pennsylvania based zoo without having to consider it animal abuse  .

ya ive made a penguin house and a kinda burrow thing for a wild dogs! unfortanaly you have to make one piece of wall normal wall, which dosent make sense seeing as how its supposed to be " contained " on the penguin house so that the cold air dosent escape but its still really fun

those exhibits are incredible, you did a great job!  my local zoo uses glass fencing just like that for some of their exhibits so, like some people, one of the main reasons i want mm2 is so i can make custom fencing and animal houses.  keep it up!

I often make large house for many different animals, with entrances to visitors and even outdoor enclosures for som of the animals.

Did you use regular fencing for the gorilla house? I couldn't see any.
