I wish I could post these more often than I do. This is the first ES zoo I have built this year.
Here are a couple of sneak peaks of this zoo. It's the best I have built so far in my opinion.
Orangutan baby (http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y110/Wolfclan_4515/enlarged.jpg)
Asian Elephant. (http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y110/Wolfclan_4515/enlarged1.jpg) This is a mixture of rainforest and scrub. Since I bought ES the elephants don't tolerate rainforest anymore. It looks cool this way anyways.
Lions (http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y110/Wolfclan_4515/enlarged2.jpg)
Orangutan exhibet (http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y110/Wolfclan_4515/enlarged3.jpg)
Edit: oops. I posted the same pic twice. I'll go fix that.
-
thats a nice zoo , you are right about the elephants they do look nice with the rainforest
-
Glad you found an interest in zoo building, wolfclan! This zoo looks really good so far, from my standards.
-
Is that the asian lion your using and nie pics so far :wtg
-
Good pics, no one has ever shown an orangoutan baby! I think the lion is a lion varient.
-
I love your mixed biome exibit wolfclan4515, great work!!
-
Great pics, Wolfclan. And well done for finding the time to build. Its so hard for us moderators........ :hehe
Looking forward to seeing more pics soon. :wtg
-
YES,YES,YES :w00t

i was so sad that you closed up your diares
But then i see this
*does a happy dance
really nice pics, i love the asianelephant exhibit!!
i never thought to mix scrub with rainforest
-
Thank you for all the nice comments. I am really surprised that there hasn't been an orangutan baby. And the lion is a varient skin. It looks fabulous. Lets start our tour with the rainforest.
The Asian Rainforest section
"When you enter our zoos parking lot you will see a large entrance (http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y110/Wolfclan_4515/entrance.jpg) to this zoo. The zoo is closed off to the public, and only faithful members of Zoo Admin can view the secrets behind our walls. The path (http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y110/Wolfclan_4515/entrancepath.jpg) leading into the zoo is surrounded by tall rainforest trees and tall green grasses.
To the left is the second half of the Asian adventure section but for now we will go right, into the lush green forests of southeast Asia. Javan Rhinos (http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y110/Wolfclan_4515/javanrhinos.jpg) are the residents of the first exhibet you pass. These critically endangered animals have never had a baby in captivity, and although our pair (http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y110/Wolfclan_4515/javanrhinoandshelter.jpg) is very happy and healthy, there still are no promising signs of a baby. Our zoo features a jeep tour that winds through the asian and african sections of the zoo. The path in the rhino exhibet goes right by a jungle pool! (http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y110/Wolfclan_4515/junglepool.jpg)
Across from the Javan rhinos are the orangutans. (http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y110/Wolfclan_4515/orangutanehibet.jpg) This family consists of a particularly large but gentle male, two females, and an adorable baby boy.
If you continue down the jeep tour path you will enter the exoticBengal Tiger Exhibet. (http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y110/Wolfclan_4515/BengalTigerexhibet.jpg) This exhibet holds a male orange tiger, female white tiger, and two adorable orange cubs. (http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y110/Wolfclan_4515/bengaltigers.jpg) One is a male and one is a female, both destined for the Hu Indu reserve in India.
The last exhibet in the asian rainforest adventure section is the gigantic asian elephants (http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y110/Wolfclan_4515/asianelephants.jpg). There is only one pair in here. Our female is 12 months pregnant!
-
Amazing work!!!
i love the pathway and bengal tiger exhibit!!!
keep up the aesome work!!
-
Great job on the exhibits Wolfclan, especially the Javan rhinoceros and Asian elephant, you always take good pictures you know that? :D
-
Wow! Maybe if your javan rhinos have a baby you could post a pic of it, also a first!
-
Thanks for the kind comments :blush :D Here is the ....
African section!
An elevated pathway towers over the asian elephant exhibet. If you walk across this you will come to the african elephant (http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y110/Wolfclan_4515/africanelephants.jpg) exhibet. Why would I have two elephant exhibets next to eachother? This allows viewers to see the differences between asian and african elephants in their natural habitats. Following the road throughout the elephant exhibets you will enter the african wild dog (http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y110/Wolfclan_4515/africanwilddogs.jpg) exhibet. Most of the dogs are brown, but one adult is lighter along with her two pups.
Across from the elephants and wild dogs is a huge african herbivore exhibet (http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y110/Wolfclan_4515/africanantelope2.jpg). There are three giraffe, nine sable antelope, a dozen gazelle, two black rhinos, and six zebra. There is plenty of room (http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y110/Wolfclan_4515/africanantelope1.jpg) for grazing to keep the grasses from being devoured completely and being turned into a desert.
The next, and last, savannah exhibet belongs to the lions. (http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y110/Wolfclan_4515/lionsfamilyphoto.jpg) The pride in this exhibet is very large. There are two males that run the pride together, five females, and their ten cubs. Eight of these ten cubs will be shipped to Africa when they are 6 months old so that they can begin the long, hard training for the release back into the wild.
Now the tour will bring us into the swampy wetlands of Africa. The first exhibet holds hippos and flamingos (http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y110/Wolfclan_4515/flamingoandhippos.jpg) both wonderful attractions to the zoo. flamingos (http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y110/Wolfclan_4515/flamingo.jpg)
Next up are the terrifying nile crocodiles, (http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y110/Wolfclan_4515/nilecrocodile.jpg) huge animals frm Africa. These animals in the zoo are actually quite harmless. "Oh NO!! Nile Crocodile 3 is chasing down the tour jeep, everyone run around in circles with your hands above your head!" :lol This old girl (http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y110/Wolfclan_4515/nilecrocodileinpath.jpg) is blocking the path.
The last exhibet (http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y110/Wolfclan_4515/scimitarhornedoryx.jpg) concludes our African section, and the jeep tour. The scimitar horned oryx and camels make lovely companions.
-
:w00t Wow :w00t . Awesome zoo. This may be you're first zoo, but they are way better than mine! Please keep posting!
-
I see you found something else to do besides your diary......
-
Cool! I never knew you could run the jeep path through water!
I like your croc exhibit!
-
Those are great exhibits, will you be starting you diary again soon seen as you have put ZT2 back on you computer.
-
Excellent Wolfclan! I like the idea of the Jungle Pool placed in the exhibit.
-
Thank you everyone! BTW this is not my first zoo. My old topic was deleted because I didn't update in so long. Cuddly Panda, I am still working on a new idea instead of the diaries. lamna, there will be no more diaries from me...
I only need to finish the North American section and then I will update again but the game is running sooo SLOW!! :angry
-
wow! these are really good pictures. hope there are more soon :wtg
-
In the preveiw for ES they had a pic of a jeep in the water. Great job on this zoo! Your zoo building skills are not rusty! :lol
-
:D Thank you once again
Now today before we continue our tour onto the Americas section lets quick hear some interesting news from the asian rainforest section. Wow! Our asian elephant had a beautiful baby girl!
-
And our female javan rhino had a cute little baby boy. The first to be born in captivity!! Unfortunately, his father was VERY old, and died, but his mother is still has a few years left in her. When he is an adult we plan on getting another female to see if we can get another rare baby.
-
:crying :crying Ah the poor rhino has no dad.On a nicer note nice pics :wtg
-
But now the tour has to continue. We pass the scimitar horned oryx and camels and continue down a lovely path into the North American section.
-
Thank you Hughesy
The first exhibet you come to in the North American section is the gray wolf exhibet. Though the animals like to live in packs, we adopted only two so that we can avoid their irratating killing behavior. The female is expected to have pups soon and hopefully they will start a pack.
-
Next we come to a forested exhibet which holds moose!
-
The front wolf isn't camera shy at all :P .Love the wolf exhibit
-
Moose like to live alone or in small groups. This pair is quite happy living together year round.
-
Thanks again :)
This is another mixed biome exhibet but there is only one species in it.
-
Aren't they the wetlands trees in the boreal forest :blink :blink .That variant skin is one of my favourites of any animal
-
The ferocious wolverine! They may look cute but DO NOT try to hug them :tongue1
-
Yes, I do love to mix my biomes and trees.
These animals get along quite well with the moose but we separated them anyways so that they couldn't hide in the boreal trees. The beavers. The pesky zookeeper was in the way in this shot.
-
My wolverines always kill each other :crying .Then they get sad .i lov all ur pics . :wtg
-
Here is the beavers pond. The zookeeper gets in the way once again.
-
please do not try to bypass the censors
-
The next exhibet takes us to the grasslands of North America. Here you will see a small herd of bison. These giants are quite lovely to have in zoos besides the fact that they are quite smelly.
-
Are you in a car or on foot.Nice bison
-
Next we are entering the south american section. There are more North American animals but they are hard to see unless you are on the sky tram tour. Here are the spectacled (sp?) bears. I always thought they were from Europe until now.
-
Were did you get that nice tree it purdy .I thought that aswell :hehe
-
I am on foot.
Here is another mixed biome exhibet. The tortoise doesn't mind a little rainforest. These creatures can live up to 180 years old!
-
Wow thatis long .He must have alot of grandchildren :hehe :hehe
-
The trees are from the raptors spring pack.
Now we have reached the sky tram station so lets hop on and view the bears from above!
-
:w00t You take brilliant photos :w00t
-
and the tortoise. You can see them both but one is dirty and kind of blends in.
-
Ohh i can see him he is in the water :lol
-
looking back on the wolverine exhibet from above. You can see the large variety of plants here.
-
No hes right above the golden part of the seat next to the bush.
Here is a gorgeous pair of polar bears.
-
Your right about the plants and i cant seee the wolverines :( .But the exhibit looks nice
-
And anothe mixed biome exhibet. This exhibet holds both Kangaroos and koalas. My Australian exhibet.
-
Looking down on the koalas. One little guy is going to chase the other female, who is not shown in this picture. The other koala is their daughter, all grown up!
-
:hehe The polar bears blend in well and it looks like the kangaro0os are fighting :hehe
-
Forgot the caribou exhibet.
-
I didnt know koalas liked scrub.Cool i will note that for next time these photos are brilliant :wtg .Keep it up.ps love the caribou variants.pps were did u get them
-
This is my favorite exhibet apart from the orangutans and bengal tigers! It's just gorgeous.
We are entering the North and East Asia section.
A herd of markhor consists of 6 adults. The same goes for a herd of ibex.
Koalas don't like scrub. That is why I mixed the biomes. Also, the caribou vairents are found here at ZA. :)
-
I love the water fall. This exhibit is good just imagine the tigers and orangutan :w00t :w00t :w00t :w00t
-
Not everyone at ZA will have these lovely animals! The mainland serow are gorgeous animals. They are easy to breed (there are two babies in this exhibet but both are hiding. one is in this picture, blending in with his mother near the salt lick) They share their home with paecocks!
-
And the last exhibet we will come to in this zoo is the panda exhibet. Here we can see an adorable red panda feasting on bamboo in an elevated food dish.
-
They look cool.I want them please tell me werwe you got them
-
All my downloads come from ZA.
Here you can see the rest of the panda exhibet. Three giant pandas (a baby is peeking out from the bamboo near the scratching post) and two red pandas. (there is a baby next to the adult in front of the pursuit ball. Look hard. There are four giant pandas and three red pandas all together. And that concludes my first completed large map zoo!
-
awesome pictures! very creative how you make those mixed exibits :wtg
-
Very creative. I still can't see!
-
Looks good! Can you post an overview map of it?
I'm trying to fill a large map for my next zoo too - I keep making the exhibits too big as I'm zoomed all the way out!
-
oops. I forgot to post the map yesterday. Here you go
-
Sneak a peek at my latest zoo, my rainforest zoo!
-
Here is a closer view. It took me ages to make this waterfall. Im still working on the cliffs alongside it!
-
I can't see the koalas, I can't see the sneak peeks! :crying Oh well, I hear you are doing a good job so here you are! :clap :wtg :wtg :wtg
-
Nice waterfall and a good shot of the tigers paddling. :wtg
-
So there's tigers and a waterfall... Can you try posting with photobucket or imageshack so I can see these wonderful pictures?
-
What's wrong? :huh ? :huh ? :huh ? :huh ? :huh ?
-
Koala King maybe you have a bad connection. Is there a message that pops up when you click on the link? Can you see these pictures?
-
yeah, koala king, you're missin' some great pics! at first i thought that white tiger was a clouded leopard...are you gonna have those?
-
I thought it was wolfclan4515 being cruel by putting a snow leopard in the wrong biome. :hehe :wtg
-
 No I will not have clouded leopard.
I don't know what to tell you Koala King. It's not the website, theres something wrong with your PC, because everyone else can see them fine. :sad I prefer posting like this because its less time consuming. sorry.
Here is the overview map of Boro Bora Canyon.
-
This zoo is absolutely gorgeous. The pictures just do not do it justice. You can only see the exhibets by sky tram. The animals here have had no contact with humans besides seeing a zookeeper once in a while filling food dishes. By only having a sky tram this keeps the animals from being spooked and will give you a better view of the thickly forested exhibets. So lets hop on a cart and ride through the jungle canopy.
-
After viewing the okapi family you will pass through a gibbon exhibet. Three females, one of which is a baby, and one male.
-
I could see those pics well, but I still can't see the attatched pics! :crying I have a mac, not a PC.
-
Heres a close up of our little baby!
-
Couldn't you see teh pics before though?
Here is a view of the borneo pygmy elephant exhibet. These animals were separated from the mainland thousands of years ago. over time they have grown smaller than the asian elephant. There are an estimated 1500 individuals left today.
-
A female leaves the herd to find food.
-
All of the pics were attachments :shocked . I'm confused now!! :crazy !! :crazy !!! :crazy !
-
Another female strolls along the cliff, enjoying the nice day.
-
No the two on the previous page were IMG images
A large (well, large compared to the other borneo pygmy elephants) male heads this way. He looks like he's coming out of the fog
-
The elephant exhibet is the highest in the zoo. When you are on the sky tram up there you can see the whole zoo.
-
Heading off the cliff of the elephant exhibet you will pass over a troop of lemurs.
-
From the ground you can see many members of the lemur troop. There are 12, two of which are babies.
-
Continuing on the sky tram we pass over the bengal tiger exhibet.
-
looking down, you can see the mother and her two cubs
-
The tapir exhibet is the most sucessful breeding exhibet in the zoo. We have had four babies now, two were released to the wild. You cannot get too close to this exhibet, even in the sky tram.
-
Here is a view of the two babies.
-
here we are coming up on the gorilla exhibet. These creatures are quite peaceful, and try to avoid fighting the best they can.
-
Three of the five animals are visible in this photo.
-
And now we pass over my favorite exhibet, the black leopards.
-
I spent the most time on this exhibet and it turned out great!
-
Here is a look at their pond. The male is visible at the far end of it.
-
the pair and their sleeping platform.
-
Moving on we pass over the orangutan exhibet.
-
An overview. There are three orangutans in this picture but all of them are half hiding behind trees.
-
Sorry i havent been in here for awhile!!
Really good job!!!
I love the Tigers!!!
Where did you get the borneo pygmy elephant?
its cute!
-
From the ground you can see the finer details of the exhibet.
-
Wolfclan got itat zoo tycoon desiging centre and wow nice pics mayb e the tapirs breed so well because you cant get close
-
awesome zoos! cute baby taipers too!
-
I thought you said orangutans were your fav exhibit a page back
-
Yes! I can see again, and your pictures were the best ever! I like those tapirs. I always like to see ES animals get used, it eases my pain of having a mac. :clap I can see again!
-
Lovely pics, Wolfclan! That last one is superb! :D
-
You are one of the rare moderators that actually has time to build and post pictures! Great job!

I thought you said orangutans were your fav exhibit a page back
Thank you everyone! Orangutans were my favorite exhibet in my OTHER zoo. and Koala King, I only find time ot build on weekends. :D
-
Still, some moderators can't even build then!
-
Its the weekend again!! Get ready for some more pictures. I have been working on a new zoo for a week and a half now. i don't expect it to be done for a long time yet, as I am trying to win the 20 year blimp. So far I am on July year 2 :rolleyes but I will have a few sneak peeks later. First, lets finish up the rainforest zoo.
Here are the endangered javan rhinos. They are very shy.
-
The javan rhinos were the last exhibet but the endangered pygmy elephants have a surprise for you.
-
A baby!
-
The calves are only up to the parents knees!
-
The final picture of the rainforest zoo is the size comparison of the lemur and the pygmy calf. The lemur is as big as it!! :blink
-
Great job! Never knew pygmy elephant babies were so small!
