Thank you Hughesy

The first exhibet you come to in the North American section is the gray wolf exhibet.  Though the animals like to live in packs, we adopted only two so that we can avoid their irratating killing behavior.  The female is expected to have pups soon and hopefully they will start a pack.

Moose like to live alone or in small groups.  This pair is quite happy living together year round.

Yes, I do love to mix my biomes and trees.

These animals get along quite well with the moose but we separated them anyways so that they couldn't hide in the boreal trees.  The beavers.  The pesky zookeeper was in the way in this shot.

The next exhibet takes us to the grasslands of North America.  Here you will see a small herd of bison.  These giants are quite lovely to have in zoos besides the fact that they are quite smelly.

Next we are entering the south american section.  There are more North American animals but they are hard to see unless you are on the sky tram tour.  Here are the spectacled (sp?) bears.  I always thought they were from Europe until now.

I am on foot.

Here is another mixed biome exhibet.  The tortoise doesn't mind a little rainforest.  These creatures can live up to 180 years old!

The trees are from the raptors spring pack.

Now we have reached the sky tram station so lets hop on and view the bears from above!
