Can someone help me with downloads?

I already read numerous topics, including the sticky, and I have no clue what they are talking about! What do you mean unzip, copy, and paste, etc? Anyways here are my questions. Also I'm using ZT1CC.

1. My animals won't appear, when I download them. I tried to download, a dragon, a fairy, etc.

2. I want everything, in free form, but the hack that gets it won't work.

3. Can you help me step by step? The sticky faq confuses me. I don't know what it means.

4. Can you tell me what prgrams I need?

First of all: Welcome to Zoo Admin.

Second: Please do not double post, but wait patiently until someone answers your questions. This can be quick, but as this is NOT a chatroom it may well take some time for people to answer your questions.

Now back to the actual problem.

When you download something, what do you do?
A download is usually a zip-file: this means that it is sort of a package with other files inside. Now before you can use these files you have to "unwrap" the package, this is called unzipping. After that you will have to place the "unzipped" files into the correct folders on your computer.
Now you are using ZT1CC this means you have a dlupdate folder. So you unzip all ztd-files (which are inside the package so to speak) to this folder. If there are any dll-files in the package you will unzip those into the Zoo Tycoon folder.
