Black Panther Is Blue...
« on: February 19, 2006, 01:52:13 PM »
I have an error, All my black panthers turn up metallic blue, how to fix it? Is there a patch or something?

I recall that someone on this board had a similar problem, but it was  way in the times when I didn't have ZT2 so I didn't pay attention to that thread. Can someone help me or post a link to that thread if there was an answer there?

When you say metallic blue, do you mean shiny, like chrome? If they're just blue-ish, maybe you only need to adjust your graphcis settings. If they're chrome-like, then the topic is here.

Setting the graphics on high doesn't change a thing, here is a link to an image showing the problem:

Also my graphic card is a Radeon 9200, hope this will help. Also, this occured before I had any custom made downloads.
This doesn't happen to any other animal, just the Blue Fang's Black Panther.

Changed picture to link to prevent page scrolling.

They look like really cool statues

I never noticed anyone getting this problem before ES, I wonder if it's a compatibility problem?

This is a problem with the graphics being set on low as previously said; if you change your graphics to a higher setting then it should fix the metallic blue problem.

Ok, I played with the settings a lot and I seemed to have solved the problem.
I'm not sure how I did iut though, all my settings are now on Medium to High, the only ones are left low are:
- Anti Aliasing
- Font shadowing

So it probably has something to do with this.

P.S
What setting one has to have to see different skin variations of animals?

Has to be on High for most things for variants, sorry to tell you. Some can be Medium, but most have to be High. :sad
