Sound Problems

I just got my laptop back from a place where they had to fix it but they wiped my laptop so i installed ZooTycoon2 again but onto a different drive that i plug in, to save space on my laptop. I put it on to play but the sounds not working, can anyone help me?:welcomean

Have you tried adjusting the volume on both the laptop and in-game settings?

yes, my laptop is on full volume and i set all the zootycoon sounds to full volume aswell

My hubby is in IT support and he suggests to unplug the other drive and try installing directly on the laptop to see in the sound works (can be uninstalled after the test).  If it works then the problem is accessing the sound files on the other drive.  If the sound doesn't work then the problem is either on the CD or in the laptop hardware - like missing sound card drivers.
