Does anybody play runescape? I used to be obsesed with it but know i have calmed down. my lvl 51 guy is called dave10115 and my new guy is called, wait for it bigdave10115 :lol

Sure it helps to have people in high places. i have done all the free quests exept dragon slayer and a couple of members. Mmm chompy :lol anybody have any iron or steel armour? i would make some for bigdave but thosse kind of swaps are prohibated.

I'm an all- out noob. Komodo_342, mithrill mace, chainmail, leather slacks, steel kyteshield and no skills whatsoever. Level 20-something in combat. almost level 40 cook. I stink at almost everything else.

Started playing. Won't touch it wit a ten-foot pole.

About the goblin mail, its easy. You gotta make dye, aggie the witch in draynor village will help you with that, but you wil need ingredients to let her make dye. Ill show the dye table:
Blue dye: 2 Woad leaves + 5 coins (for woad leaves, talk with the gardener in falador park)
Red dye: 3 redberries ( found just out of the edge of varrock) + 5 coins
Yellow dye: 2 onions (found in lumbridge near fred the farmer) + 5 coins
Orange dye: Mix red and yellow by using it on eachother (you'll need this for the orange goblin mail, just use the orange dye on a normal goblin mail)
Green dye: Mix blue and yellow dyes
Purple dye: Mix red and blue dye
Also, with the dyes you can change the color of your cape. Hope this help :happy

I think it's better to be at a lower level, because you get more challenge out of the game. But if you are high in level, it still probably is fun. I still haven't played this game a lot. One weekend of it was enough for me.

Ive found a saro mjoiur thing. also ive done dranon slayer and brought rune platebody. However im now down to my last 5k, mabye ill dig up the zammy mjouir, i know vagley where it is. So if you evil and want to show it buy a new mjouer only 75K

I got it btw, the whip. It really owns and hits as fast as a dagger! (Yes, daggers hit faster than for instance a sword.) :happy

Greataxe is better IF used with the full dharok suite. It gives a special effect: the less hp you got, the higher your strength is. Highest hit in whole runescape was a lvl 126, 5 hp left, whi hitted 81! this is real! :><

Including an addy long full steel and mith scimmy and stuff lowlevel like that. Attack-Defence-Srength-Hit Points, they all equal 32. I only have 5 more free quests to go, and that's it. :happy

Lvl 78 = tigertail93
Lvl 14 (32 defence) = petite_tigre
Lvl 3 (46 fishing and cooking) = cute_foosa

My current thingy I'm doing on runescape is mining 500 Iron & 1000 Coal then making them into steel bars

I had an RS character called Sydeney, got her up to 70 something then discovered World of Warcraft. I went back to RS to give all my stuff to low levels then cancelled my membership! Thoroughly enjoyed it whilst I played it though :) I guess I still have the free account there.

Well actually I decided to quit runescape. I gave my account away to someone, but I'm not sure if they're using it. I just want to spend my time on other things. It was fun while it lasted. If you see my name on runescape, it's probably someone else.

Oh and, if your stats are better than Chikoritapro, then you should be able to beat it, cause he/she did.

oik can someone please help me my computers been acting wierd and when ever i try to log in to my character it says error connecting to server or when i do actually log in after 10 seconds it says the connection is lost :( can someone tell me if it could be from the weather im getting around my town in Milwaukee its like -10 degrees with freezing rain of if its something with my computer please if you know how i can fix it plz help me plz :(

If you can handle multiple scorps, try barbarians at their village :happy

thanks i also heard that barbarians sometimes drop halfs of the dragon shield so ill train their those dumb scorpians dont drop anything :angry

Try just killing chickens till you lvl 10+. Ive been a runescape alot recently but i have not been here. Did anyone know i can tele other, just come to thw wilderness wilth me and ill give you a free teleport to lumbrige. lol

Why do you need someone with 69 smithing? Need anything smithed? Perhaps my friend can help you if you bring up ores (hes 96 smithing :crazy to high..)

Actully, yes!
If I provided the coal, logs & feathers, would he make me 1000 addy arrows? (all he needs is 67 addy ore, cause I can't mine it..... :sad )
And, (Greedy me! :P ) Still providing the coal, Rune chain, battle-axe, and full helm? That's 8 runite ore, for him to get - plus the 67 addy, (aggh, maybe I should get the addy) & thats it! How many feathers per arrow are there? same with logs?
I'll need, 466 coal... :>< Maybe I should use coal trucks...
Edit: Oh, could I have a rune axe too?

I do it all the time, you need this:
43 prayer\43 +
59 magic +
decent range level
prayer potions (how many dephends on your stats, take 8 with you to see how much you need)
and some quests: nature spirit+ priest in peril are needed, in search of the myreque for a shortcut
Tele runes
Explanations are on some info sites, wich i'm not naming (=p) but you can find one earlier this thread

cooks hats can be got from imps no goblins.

Had a guthan warspear from barrows 3 weeks ago, I'm finally getting richer =) and with the ban of the richest player in the game (Duke freedom, he owned 1 partyhats sets(900mill, he sold his other 19 sets for real money. hes banned for that, but he paid his study with the cash) 290 santa's, lotsa easter eggs and stuff, and 20 mask sets) My santa rose from the price i got it for:7.2 mill to 9.4 =)

I can't belive how many people get scammed or further more how many people want to scam just over a game. I my self have never been scammed but from what I hear it sounds bad :(

Actualy people who scam are in the minority, most people follow the rules and you should not be put of. However there are 2 fairly comman scams.
Ammour triming. This is imposible to do and the persons is almost always a scammer
Gem cutting. Some people will offer to cut gems for you for free or a price, a few of these people are helpful and just looking for some crating xp, most however are scammers.

i was selling 200k and a guy changes to 2k and i didn't realise so.. well you know what happened next so i'll leave it at that..: :P :

Lol , sorry but I find it funny when people get scammed. Mainly because my friend is a millionaire becasue of it and promised me full rune and 2-h sword for free. I'm currently level 52 with full iron and an addy long sword. I used have better stuff when I was a member but I'm not anymore. If anyone wants to get those stiffy rainbow boots just PM me and I'll help ye through the stronghold of security. It gives you 10k , 4 new emotes and one of two pairs of boots.

It's an ok game bit repetitive but here are some (mostly minor ones) problems that you may or may not agree with me on.
1 Clothing, yes I think that it is dumb that when you create a character once you find the shirt that you like you can not change it unless you put on something else so. I suggest this if they could make it so that you could have on a multitude of different types of amour. There however would be some restrictions on this such you would not be able to have the strongest type that you can currently use depending on your level.
2 Weapons. I am annoyed at the fact you can't sacrifice a shield in exchange for another wepon.This would only apply to weapons that are one handed.
3 Mounts I think that in order to make the game much more fun you should be able to ride stuff such as horses, dragons, camels, and maybe even cows or donkeys but it would greatly decrease your power if you are a mage riding on a horse. Wizards however should have either a bonus against mounted horses or have some magical ability that makes them run as fast as a horse so they can have a fair fight.
4 Flecthing...I seems unfair that the warriors have simthing and the mages have runecrafting but it seems strange how you have to be a member to do flecthing why?Doesn't that seem a little bit unfair?

Well, my total level is 400, but combat is 46. I've been leveling up attack, defense, and strength evenly. I like to fish and hope to get that level higher. Prayer level takes a long time to level up, mine is 29.

You should make ur strength higher than everything else. Helps if u PVP.

Go up to a guy and say I know how do double items. Then if he says how, say follow then lead him to a remot area the tell him to drop and item and hold Ctrl F4. He should log out the grab the item and run! LOL! Thats how I got Guthex! Also around 1mill

I've nearly been playing rs for a year now my character is macaw 1000 and is 89 combat nearly 90.
i make all my money woodcutting and i have 2.2m cash and a dragon woodcutting axe, im 93 woodcutting going for 99 the slow way :clap:

My way of making money on runescape: Do the death to the dorgeshuun quest if you haven't done it already, and go to the ham storage rooms (The place zanik got killed) pickpocket guards until you get a key. Picklock the doors of any room (CAUTION: If you get in the guards line of sight whilst picking the locks, he'll attack you, so pickpocket the one standing in the direction you are and wait until he finds you stealing from him, he'll be distracted and you can pick lock the door) and use the key on the chest inside. If your lucky, the best jewelery you get are made of rubies or emeralds. The others are saphire, opal and jade. BTW, Goldenmarmoset, can you lure Bluka 4000? He wears red & blue decorative armour, and scammed my diamonds. I gave him lots of stuff in exchange for a poisoned dagger, but he took it off and i gave him my stuff, so just give him death.
