they bought out a patch for the bug almost within days of the game being released - same as for family fun once they relised their was a major bug they got a patch out quickly. in fact they ahve just changed the patches to included even more bug fixes which makes me happy cos one of them was for my specific graphics card, so now my Servos work properly.

the patches can either be found on the offical site at the The Sims 2 or while playing the game you have the choise to update the game.

but after the great announcements! bit there was a paw print - so it looks like that pets will be officially announced soon

wolf's rain just downaod the patch to your computer desktop and run it it is a self installing patch.

you will see the paw print after the blurb about the glamour pack and in teh forums there is a whole topic about the meaning of the paw prints that have been appearing on the site.

I was sitting at the site the day of the announcement HOURS waiting on them to announce it. I was soooo happy when they did! The screenshots look amazing and the video is awesome as well! This is one game that I seriously can not wait for!!

It Comes Out October 17 I Think, You Literally Get Create Your Own Pet, And Breed Them, Sell Them Keep Them Whatever You Want. And On The Video I Sall A Boxer( I Have One Named Chaos) I Hope They Have Border Collies And American Bulldogs Or Shiba Inu's And American Eskimo's, Because I Have Those Breeds Too.

So far they have 34 breeds, but in the create a pet, you can create pretty much any type of breed, from what I gathered by reading the press release and info page.

If "Pets" includes Birds and Reptiles, plus smaller mammals, I might just buy Sims 2. I think it'd be cool if they Made a Sim Zoo, and you could tranfer the zoo to Sims 2, and visit the zoo.
