Civilization iv is out now. I am thinking of buying it.
Next to Zoo Tycoon 1 it is the only PC-game I play and have every version of.

Now I am curious.  :rolleyes
Does anyone here have it and what is it like in gameplay?  :cool

I have been thinking about this game as well. I did not like the previous version, thought it was really boring. I think it has changed for the better

I would love some info from members as well

I also am interested.  I loved Civ and Civ II, but the last thing I saw available for demo bored me - I didn't like it nearly as much as Civ II.

I think its great! Its got a lot of improvements over Civ III. I especially like the religion concept. The system requirements of the game are a bit high though... Civ didn't really need to be 3d...

Does anyone know if there is a demo version like there was for Civ III?

Similar story here, Civ and Civ 2 were great, Civ 3 seemed a bit excessively complicated to me and dead awkard to set up near resources. I also liked Alpha Centauri a lot, although never got the Alien expansion for it.
I'd like to try Civ 4, but am worried that it may be too much like Civ 3...

First of all, I did get the game and I love it, eventhough it does take some time to learn the tactics.

Now if you want to know what others think or want to read some good stuff about it go to Civfanatics. They have forums and other stuff on all CIV versions.

And a Demo of the game can be found here at the botom of the page.

Hope you all will enjoy this new Sid Meier Game  :wtg
