My friend Alexis told me it was fun, so I joined Neopets.My name there is schwartzwald. I am just getting the hang of neopets; there is still alot of stuff I have to figure out. I have 2 neopets at the moment. A Lupine(i think thats what it is called) and a Boomaroo(is that what it is called?) :paperbag:

I don't usually, but I usually feed mine up to the bloated stage. I don't buy food either, the freebies are usually enough to keep my three happy ^_^

I made a new neopet, a kau. How do you get paint and such so that you can paint your neopet? My friend has a neopet that is painted with stars, and one that is spotted. How can you do that? And how do you get your neopet's levels up?

You have to buy paintbrushes and take the pet and the brush to the Rainbow Pool

Additionally, you can purchase the Lab Ray map pieces and zap your pet into new colors.

Both avenues are quite pricey I'm afraid.

Of course, you can also hope to get a Fountain Faerie Quest, a random event on the site, and if you get that she will paint your pet any color you want for free...after you find whatever it is she wants of course.

to level up your pets you can train them at the training school on Krawk Island, or the one on Mystery Island (different payment at each one, that's the only difference), or you can go visit Coltzan's Shrine in the Lost Desert, but that's more of a chance thing and takes a fair while to do anything. I think that's about it... anyone else know other ways?

You can also level your pet from doing Deadly Dice between midnight and 1am Neopets Standard Time, as well as zapping them from the Lab Ray.

I like a lot of the games but rarely get time to play anymore.
