Zoo Tycoon Center, the new, improved fused site consisting of old stuff from ZT Planet, Teamwork and Center, is now open!
Our main site is lacking a lot of things, so I'm asking that people could donate their pictures for the gallery and FAQ questions. Please forward these to the site email, zootycooncenter@yahoo.ca. Our downloads section is also lacking currently, but that should change very soon.
Congratulations to my fellow admins for helping get this off the ground, and to everyone, enjoy the new site!

Well competitions start February and it will be posted soon and i have to say the prize is RSN CC2, there will be 2 chances of winning it as that is the prize for the ZT1 and ZT2 contest. :D

ZT Center's ZT2 game page has been updated with content numbers and the Musk Ox, ZT Online Resource has been added to the links section, ZT1 and 2 FAQ's are up, and lastly, our new sister site, Recreation Station, has a link at the bottom of this page. This is just the start of a big update; look for more stuff soon, including a start to the gallery, and the ret of the downloads, including some new ZT2 zoos by african raptor. :)

I got 4 animals and 2 packs from old site up today, as well as a pair of new objects and new packs by afircan raptor. In the article section, a fan suggestion has been added to the ZT1 FAQ, and the ZT2 Recolouring tips are up, a must-see!
Also, ZT Center designers are hard at work developing ZT2 animals. I'm working on the Springhare, and ZooKeeperMark is trying to produce the Black Bear.

We have just had news that one of our admins 'JackHannahJr' is leaving the zt community. Here is what he had to say;
As many of my faithful friends of ZTC have noticed, I have not been active for the last few months. I am afraid to say that my interest in ZT has dwindled and I have moved onto other interests and hobbies. I will, however, occasionally visit the site and update information on my zoo recreations.
I know you guys will maintain ZTC's respectable name and reputation.
"This is not the end, but the beginning of something new."
If people would like to say goodbye there is a topic on the forum for you to say it in.

Sadly, over the past few days, ZT Center has been under a barrage of profane spamming :( . I apologize if any offense has been taken to any ZT Center members or guests. That being said, we're now taking extra precautions such as mandatory validation. Once again, sorry to anyone who was thinking of registering here that we've had to add this barrier.
Right now, I'm currently working on a minor site redesign. I'm hoping that next update I can have a more comprehensive and useable download section.
Finally, ZT Center presents the 2005 Zoo Tycoon Olympics :w00t ! There's a seperate topic here for all the updates and links to this forum.

Yes, that time is here again! The 2005 Zoo Tycoon Olympics is the premier zoo building competition of the year, where teams of four represent their country and try to build the best zoo. There are competitons for both ZT1 and ZT2 this time around, as well as new team formats that allows everyone to build part of a zoo! Put a team of four together with your friends and PM an organizer (me or JackHannahJr.) at the site to tell them which country you wish to represent, or enter by yourself and we'll set you up with a team. Read the complete registration guidelines and official rules at the site. Enjoy everyone!

April's contests for ZT1 and ZT2 are now up! :w00t
For ZT1, build a spring-themed zoo with at least 5 animal exhibits each featuring their offspring. :wub
For ZT2, build a Giant panda exhibit where guests can easily view them as well as an secluded area for the pandas to hide. :D
Both these contests end April 30th and the prize will be a new creation by "moi" (French for me :happy ) that will be in my new San Diego Zoo recreation! :w00t
Remember, that this contest is only permitted for ZTC members so if you aren't registered be sure you do. You will not want to miss out on this. :D

I went to Zoo Tycoon Center today looking for some downloads and found this awesome one. I recomend you go download it now. It has several great animals such as the giant salamander, blue whale, salmon scrested cockatoo, and tons of prehistoric amphibians.
P.S. If there is already a topic for this somewhere, delete this one.
P.S.S I'm looking for several original RSN downloads I cant find here, namely the kronosaurus and the leatherback turtle. If you should find these on the net, tell me.

Sorry, as this is more of a site ad for another site, I am moving there and merging. Please note for future reference. As for RSNCC1, the hope was at one point to host it here. During testing, I found a number of issues, and have not been able to get in touch with RSN to resolve. All of the downloads are available here that I know of, but I will check on the 2 you listed. Thanks.

Our admins at ZTC have RSNCC1 and might be able to put it up in the near future, but if there are issues with it, we'll wait to upload it until they're fixed.
May's contests are underway at ZT Center, the ZT1 contest is a animal design contest being run my JackHannahJr. Create a real animal with the most realistic appearence, description and habitat :w00t ! Check the forums for details.

Ower designer team work to time on serveral projects like World Wonder Series or other Packs like a Star Wars Creature Pack (it is plane).
We also give now Workshops for people whos wanted to know how to make animals and for uca editing.

Despite the lack of update on this page, we've been busy at work at ZT Center redoing the download database, and today it is finally complete! The database is now much easier to navigate and search for your favourite files, and we can now upload files faster for you. Along with the new database are 8 new downloads (6 animals, 1 object and 1 map). Finally, all technical issues have been fixed. Screenshots will be slowly added over the next little while, so stay tuned for that. In the meantime, check out the new download section!
Big things are in store for ZT Center this summer, including a new site layout, clubs, contests and new ZT2 downloads and tutorials! Don't miss out, join us at the site!

A collaborative pack of ZT2 animals at ZTC is almost complete! It will include the Springhare, Black Bear, Forest Elephant, African Leopard, and Racoon! :w00t A new site design is in the works and Harry Potter Halucination is set to be released July 16th as well!

Wow, there's a new layout at ZT Center! The entire site has been redone, with a few content updates along the way. A section has been added for the new ZT2 Expansion in the games section, the ZT2 FAQ and ZT2 Recolouring Guide have been updated, and the links section has more sites.

The APE Enhancer puts all the animals from Dino Digs, Marine Mania and Complete Collection in APE, as well as a few bonus objects. :)

So after the Around the World Pack Africa has released the Uxp goes on. Theme of this Pack is now Madagascar. If you wanted to help me or you have wished wht do you want in the Pack go on Zt Center and post it there. It would be cool if some designers could help me with it like how we did it in the Africa one. :happy

Just to let everyone who is having issues know, ZT Center has its downloads on a free Geocities server, which only has enough bandwidth to let two people download it before it shuts down. Sorry for the inconvienience, but it should be good again in an hour or two.

A new Endangered Species section is now up at the forums, it's for members only! This includes Developer Diaries and Image Galleries (Courtesy of Zoo Admin, Gamershell and Microsoft). Keep up to date at the new section, and you can also check the main site for a game overview as well!

Zoo Admin and Zoo Tycoon Center are now affiliates! Other new features include a reformatted download page for better access and a new ZT2 download, the Shetland Pony by Sideshow Bob. If you haven't already, be sure to get your entries in for this month's contest at the forums before it closes for your chance to win APE2!

The raccoon download's bug is fixed, and the young are now raccoons (I think, I didn't actually test it in-game)... :happy

Hi everyone, Its been quite a while since we've made a proper update so here's what has happened.
I have just added a strategies area where soon there will be information on food courts, themeing, mixed exhibits awards and much more. Members can also contribute to this area with any helpful hints they may have. In the past two days I have done small updates to the graphics on the froum like new member group pictures which appear under your avatar and there are new pips in the form of green stars, Incase you don't know what pips are they are the pictures that appear when your post count goes up and your name changes for example you where a zoo keeper then you get too a certain post limit and become marine specialist you will gain a pip.
Competitions may soon be back I have an idea for at least one which I'd like to see people take part in so we should have them up and running in at least a month.
At the moment I am talking with Sideshow bob and we may be updating the site soon but nothing is certain yet.
So if you havn't been to the site in a while then why not come and check it out.

I had been away from the Zoo Tycoon community for a while, and I was quite saddened when I came back to Zoo Tycoon Center to see how silent the forums had become. This is where we need your help!
Zoo Tycoon Center is looking for individuals to help maintain our site, as well as active members. Positions available include download database manager, main site manager, contest manager and designers. We want some new faces on our staff with fresh ideas, so if you think you're qualified, come back to the site and look for the job application topic in the Site Discussion forum.
