Angled Animations - UniversalThis is for people that take screenshots of their zoos, especially for zoo screenshot contests.
Did you ever try to take a screenshot while an animal, guest, or staff member was doing something, only to miss it? Or maybe you wanted multiple animals to be doing something at the same time in the screenshot. This download allows you to do that. It adds animated "statues" to the zoo scenery purchase menu. Every animal, guest, staff, and ambient angled animation that exists in the original Zoo Tycoon program has a "statue" referring to it. These will work in any ZT1 version. All of the guest related animations are in angledAnimations-Guests.ztd. All of the staff related animations are in angledAnimations-Staff.ztd. The animal animations are split into ".ztd" files representing the Zoo Tycoon action name. angledAnimations-idle.ztd includes the ambient animations as well. For those interested in seeing the animation that was used by the Zoo Tycoon programmers before the actual graphics were created, look at angledAnimations-stretchtest.ztd.
Angled Amimations -MMThis is for people that take screenshots of their zoos, especially for zoo screenshot contests. This is a continuation of the "Angled Animations" download. This download also adds animated "statues" to the zoo scenery purchase menu. These are for the animations in MM. So you must have MM or CC in order to use this download. The intent was to use the animations on ground or on water terrain. So some of the animations that were originally made for tanks might not look correct. A few of the animations cause streaks. Some of the animations do not look correct due to their size. All of the guest related animations are in angledAnimationsMM-Guests.ztd. All of the staff related animations are in angledAnimationsMM-Staff.ztd. The animal animations are split into ".ztd" files representing the Zoo Tycoon action name.
Hint: Place these into the game while the game is paused. Then you can get the specific point in the animation that you want. This placement can be a little tricky. If you miss the specific point, click Undo and try again. Also, if you place the guest animations while the game is not paused, their clothes colors will change as new guests enter the zoo (which could be used to advantage in some cases).
WARNING: Do not place all of these animations into the Zoo Tycoon Updates folder at the same time. That would cause Zoo Tycoon to reach 2 of its limits. Zoo Tycoon only allows up to 3000 things in any single purchase menu. Also, Zoo Tycoon has a limit of 3000 items that do not use ".dll" files. Since this download has more than 3000 items, only put in those that you want to use for a specific screenshot. Then take them back out of the Updates folder when done.
